Hi there.



I just rang my local games store and found out australia dosent get the game on the shelves until the 8th of May... only 6 days away i know, but is there an official way to get the game before hand and start playing here in the land of Aus?

    be thankful we actually got the game.  it seems like the Aussie market is ignored for most games.  if its not ignored entirely then its usually delayed like crazy so you end up playing the "brand new game" a few patches later.  with lord of the rings online it is not possible to get it any earlier unless you pre-ordered...and in which case there was so much confusion that the beta access you get with it either diddnt end up in ur local store or it was ended too soon (29th of April)

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
    -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

    Check the Turbine boards - they're aware of the problem and have bent over backwards to allow Auusies who pre-ordered to play until mid-May, when the boxes are supposed to arrive.  I'm sure if you contact Turbine directly, they'll help you out, they've been really, really good about that, according to the official message boards.
