rank your fave games (MMO) based on the fun you had playing 1-5. In other words, the game you stayed up all hours of the nite cause you were having a blast, not trying to level.

#1 Asheron's Call
#2 DAoC
#3 CoH/CoV
#4 AC2
#5 Anarchy Online
2. UO
3. EQ1
4. CoH/CoV
5. everything else kinda sucked.
1. Lineage 2
2. Eve
3. Ultima Online
4. Numerous alpha/betas I participated in for 6+ months
5. I guess I prefer open PvP. I stop at the top 3.
Oh, ive also gone back to planetside a few times and EQ2 for its PvE. EQ2 really is the only PvE game worth playing
"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a robot foot stomping on a human face -- forever."
1.DAoC (PVP those were the days , many awesome memories of this game )
2.CoH (Character Creation, Grouping and Powers)
3.DDO (Dungeons,Traps and overall feel of the game)
4.Guild Wars (Solid Game)
5.WoW (hate to say it but it was fun for awhile)
2. Eve - Incredibly innovative game. Again, the scale of Eve is mindboggling. I wish more games would strive to be complex instead of dumbing down the games to appeal to more broad audience. Well done Eve. I truly felt like I was exploring the vast depths of space.
3. DAoC - I left EQ for DaoC. DaoC had a completely differnt feel. Less of the high fantasy feeling and more of a mideval feel. I found DaoC more refreshing because the main continent was not divided into seperate zones and you could travel by horse. Sure the pre pathed horse ride is really lame now (I can't believe LotRO put it in their new game) but at the time travel by horse seemed much cooler than travel by boat. I liked the skill tree sort of skill advancement much more than the level up skill/spell system of EQ. All and all DaoC was a quality game and was quite refreshing and pleasant to play after EQ.
4. Space Cowboy - If you can get your brain past the obviously low budget asian style MMO, SCO is a damn fun arcade flight style MMO. SCO has incredibly simple and intuative controls for a realm versus realm pvp flight combat game. Also, the game is highly dependant on player skill. Sure, uber equipment and higher levels helps. But it is very common for people to kill other people double their level in wars. The wars are absolutely intense. I have been in wars where there were at least 500 players flying around on both sides. Quite the overwhelming and engrosing experience where you completely immersed in the action of the game. This game is definately a diamond in the rough. In that it is a good game but not a polished game. I would love to play a Space Cowboy (Eve, Auto Assault, or Mechwarrior) type of game made by a AAA type of developer.
5. Wow - Lots of friends were playing it. The game was just about what I expected from Blizzard. They make easy to use not complex games that anyone can play. That is their calling card. But it is was fun... lots of things to do.. many people to talk about the game with. Unfortunately, I got burnt out on the game rather fast.
1) DAOC (best pvp system)
2) Anarchy Online (coolness factor 10)
3) Everquest (my first mmo)
I haven't been able to find a game in the last few years to match any of those games...hoping AOC will finally do it!
Amazing CGI toons: http://www.damapro.com/ & http://www.renderosity.com/
1) EQ ( my first)
2) WoW solely because of the guild community I was in
3) EQII (in spite of the bugs early on)
4) Vanguard ( I suspect this will move up in the list once (or if depending on your viewpoint) they fix stuff)
5) CoH just for the feel of the game and getting to be a superhero
"We aren't going to ... Period. End of statement."
ya. ok. whatever.
but what do i know, i'm only a vanbois i'm told.
1) Lineage 1
2) Lineage 2
3) SWG (way pre-cu)

AO was very good as was DAoC and AC
DDO is ok, but not worth the subscription fee for my playstyle [casual, mostly solo]
disclaimer: I can rarely get more than a few hours to play on ANY day and doubt I've ever played anything 20hrs in a given week.
<p align=center><a target=_blank href=http://www.nodiatis.com/personality.htm><img border=0 src=http://www.nodiatis.com/pub/20.jpg></a></p>
2. Pre-60 WoW
3. AO
4. AoC (I hope)
5. Everything else I've tried has been equally crappy, although I suspect I'd have liked DAoC had I had the sense to get into it back when it was reasonably popular.
2- Guild Wars (staying awake during the night fighting my way trough the Guils ladder with 7 seven friends. Loved it)
3- Wolrd of Warcraft (Doing the quests, exploring the world and hoping i wont get bored at 70
4- Played some others F2P for a while but they all got boring after a week or so.
2: Vanguard

2)WoW - there were some fun low to mid level instances I did
3)LOTRO - never played after preorder due to finances, but so immersive and fun
4)EQ2 - The game can really suck you into its world. Full voiceovers for chrissake
5)Guild Wars - Just the frantic PvP can get your blood boiling sometimes

Tested over a 115+ games since 1997.
Currently Playing:
Played(Retired): AOL NWN(91-95), UO, EQ1/2, DAoC, CoX, Lineage1/2, SWG(Pre CU/NGE), Planetside, Anarchy Online, FFXI, AC, Vanguard, D&D, AoC, DCUO, Rift, Eve, others
2 LOTRO- didn't expect to like it but I ended up falling in love w/it. My new home for a good 3-4 yrs+ through the 8 expansions planned
3 WoW- the RP PvE servers were a riot. The expansion destroyed the Horde race by ruining the dark side w/those BE's:(
*No others- I've only been gaming five years and I put down roots in what I play and tend to stick with games for years
2. WoW (good friends, good fun)
3. CoV
4. Auto Assault Beta
5. AO
WoW - This game is a lot of fun. You don't really feel the grind from 1 to 60 at all and it's fun most of the way up. This game was especially fun before they started adding the raid zones.
EQ - This would be my favorite game all time except a game could never be like EQ was when it first came out. Everyone would exploit things to quickly. In the early days of commercial MMOs not many people had played MMOs yet and the freedom in this game was well as it being something new made it a great exprience at the time.
1. EnB-great community from what I remember, and just an amazing game.
2. LotRO-I had doubts about this game, and even went into it doubting I'd enjoy it but looking for something to keep my attention until my summer plans take hold, but its really an amazing game.
3. WoW-I didn't focus on the grind except when nearing 60, and being in a "fun" race between 4 or 5 other people in my guild to hit 60 first.
4. Auto Assault-It was interesting at the very least-a nice change from most other games.
5. Pre-cu SWG or Planetside- both good games, SWG with the focus on skills instead of classes, and Planetside was a nice mixture of a FPS and RPG.
1. Neocron (1) - First MMO I put my paws on for real, and I still go back
2. SW:G - Release and a few months forward, when SandBox was Real
3. EQ1 - It just had the right feeling and depth
4. EQ2 - My current love, it's almost EQ1.
5. WoW - Despite the shallow crap it is, I had AlOT of fun during those years.
Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
It all sucked.
