(Darktide) Who was the person you hated the most in PVP? For old school players

If you remember Arwic Fight Night back in the old days....when archers owned Darktide....or any old memories of PVP battles or names, who did you hate the most?

I always loved to fight Og....there was always a rush out of fighting any person in the game but Og was hilarious to fight. I fought Og all over places and he would always run and come back. I once saw Og half naked and he would just raid holtburg to kill newbies and loot them. One time he killed a newbie and took his chainmail basinet worth 50 pyreals and wear it for armor. Og was a beast....I ended up later pledging to him and raiding with him...quite the experience.

    I would go with Sundancer,  Any Anti guilds that where out there like Khao, Blood all the way.

    OG was a freak...so bloody fast! He used to own everyone back in the days, until everyone started making OG templates



    Mistress of Desires was a bitch, kept attacking us as we tried to level up our alts at the lugian citadel, grr.



    Seth Drone..i probably hated the most, he was always twice my level and I could never kill him, no matter what I tried.

    I never played on Darktide, played Harvestgain. I would hear stories about some character that was some billy badass who never spoke a word to anyone. And there were these hunting parties that would try and kill him. I have any of that right? Been a long long time.

    I always thought that was kinda cool this loner out there, then I saw the South Park episode and that guy on there who never said a word and it totally ruined it for me!

    thats great you PLEDGED to a non-speaking patron? Did he ever give you anything or talk to you in chat?

    well he didnt speak to no one...and we were battling each other from portal to portal, from holt, to rith, to shousi....finally we just kept fighting each other back and forth (UA)  and were hardly doing any damage on each other. I just asked him if I could pledge....and he started talking back to me....He would not talk to people out of his allegiance....he was actually a chatter bug if you got him going...og was a good in game friend

    It's really crazy.... I went looking for some AC vids on youtube.com right after I read this post, and the first vid that came up was made by this Og fellow you guys are talking about. I honestly feel a bit weirded out right now, because after watching one of his in-game vids, I noticed he made an RL introduction vid of himself. Man I gotta say..... this guy needs some help. I've never witnessed such a lack of self-esteem in my life, in all honestly. He's so wrapped up in the game that it's seriously not healthy, and this is coming from an avid online gamer.  I feel really bad for him since he's gotten pretty much only negative comments after posting those vids (of himself I mean) and he doesn't look like the type that can take an insult very well.

    It's a sad thing to witness, I just had no idea that anyone could be that unattached to the world...

    Thats not the "Og" we are talking about.  Og was unarmed.  His name was Og.  He hated mages and magic in general.

    That guys name is Dread Og.  Totally different guy.

    Ah ok, my apologies. But I still can't believe how affected that dread guy seems to be.

    I actually have a question, since I'm going to give this game a try soon: If that Og guy was unarmed and still able to take on multiple people at a time, does that mean that melee classes actually fair pretty well in pvp in this game? I've always been much more into the melee aspects in these games but I'm used to being the underdog because of it (since most online rpgs tend to cater more to casters when it comes to pvp.)

    Would love to be a melee/caster hybrid and still be viable in pvp.

    Yo it is all about Invincible Doomgaze my god was that man a beast at the game.  I swear to god it would take groups to take him down and amazingly he would either kill us all or get away.  Btw I am Demonseed =D

    yeah melees are great in pvp in ac and fun to play with...you should either go unarmed, sword, or axe. Sword and axe do the most damage for melee's in AC. Unarmed is a blast though and sticky combat is roxor...

    melees are awesome, but you also have to have magic as well.  I havent played the game in years, so i dont know too much about that.  You can easily make a gimped character in AC (or maybe not now).  Although, it was always an uphill battle against a mage.

    I can't remember anyone in particular we used to fight, but my small anti guild ( the Regulators) used to fight 'neckid' all the time.  Our main town we defended was Lin, but we always ended up at Stonehold or Soushi.  My absolute favorite place to hunt was Dires with my mage, and Lugian dungeon with my melee.  My first char was Fjorn (dagger boy)  he was a solo char.  Didn't need any buffs he couldn't do himself, not great in the post 126 cap.  My main character ended up being Ulebrenner - a Grandpa Mage.  I hung with Vlan, Landsknect, Legion, and Legend mostly.

    Og beat everyone because he was so much higher level. We were like level 20s in the lugian citadel and Og would come flying in at 100 miles per hour, stab us all, fly off the screen. I remember once I was staring at my radar looking for his dot and then suddenly without my realizing it he had run over to me and was hitting me. I WAS FOCUSED on the damn radar and I didn't even see him fly up to me and own me.

    ok u guys forgot 1 :) da reapper. btw this is the real da reapper before oreo madness stole my acct .  i miss the good old days with xing knights, and the formation of blood.  i rember when i used to sit outside of towns and 1 shot people off radar with xbow .  i killed 1 of moonxls vassels he was at the life stone and asked who killed u. before the vassel could reply u see moon drop dead. btw i play wow now. known as shadowchild on aggamagan. if u play give me a hollar. sup deemondseed :)

    How ironic Og the hater of all things magic gets the Life/Crit spec war trained mage template named after him.

    Never seen him, for me it was  black peacekeeper or black peacemaker      it was one of those =D

    I remember once my group of 5 went to sub... There were several full groups of blood there(including blood) The first person who game ported out. The second person ran down sub past 40 people and went  right as far as he could go. I was third and I followed him and took a right. the fourth and fifth got owned Insta like. They didn't kill the first few b/c there were so many people... it was hard to tell who wasnt blood. I stood still and they just passed me. *port out*
