Cant be exactly sure, but most games these days with a monthly fee are 12.95. I remember back in the day when I paid like 10 bucks tops a month. Well i guess 3 more isnt much of a difference, but it accumulates!

I'm amazed at how whiny cheap some MMORPG gamerz are.  $15 a month isn't that bad.  What can you buy for $15? a couple lunches? a third of a video game that will maybe take you 20 hours to win, a movie ticket, popcorn and a drink, with the movie lasting only 2 hours. And people complain about spending $15 on a game that they can play as much as they want during that month for only $15!  If you're too cheap to spend the $15, then get off your lazy butt, go work for 2 hours, and then you can play you're game for 200 hours during the rest of the month.

And I'm Canadian so I have to pay exchange on that as well and you don't hear me complaining, cause you know, if I spend $20 a month on a MMORPG, that's really gonna break the bank account, how will I afford to eat this month!?!?!  Maybe if some people cancelled their subscriptions to porn.com then they could use that money instead to play a MMORPG... then who knows, maybe you'll meet a real girl on the MMORPG (very rare chance but possible) then you won't have to spend so much time staring at internet porn.

Ok, I'm done my rant now image

There's nothing wrong about complaining about prices. It's the nature of consumers. The best way to complain, however, is to not purchase. Though, vocal complaints can influence price decisions but only before a price has been set by management. After that, you vote with your wallet.

I should also add that you are not in a position to dictate whether this or that is expensive or inexpensive for others. Every person has their own life situation and you can't possibly judge people based on your own limited life experience.

Why don't you re-read my post, I didn't say 200 hours 'straight'. I just said 200 hours in a month.  In a month with 30 days there are 720 hours, the average person will sleep 240 hours a month and work for between 150-200 hours.  You figure it out.

I love it when the whiners get personal, it always makes me feel so loved image

I have limited life experience do I? I guess I really haven't learned anything after graduated from two university degrees, or having pursued three different careers and and all this before my 25th birthday.  I guess the one thing I've learned... in my very limited life experience is that some people are never more happy then when they're complaining about having to actually pay a small amount money for something they want.  But nevermind, I don't know anything image

Ha. I guess getting university degrees is THE universal qualification for wisdomhood. Lol, that made my day.  image

I know plenty of university pre and post graduates who don't know a thing about the world they live in. And plenty of those that think they are now the defacto expert in all facets of life (such as yourself) because they now hold a university "degree" or two. I don't suppose you have a degree in sociality, psychology, business and economics do you? I myself have a degree from UBC but I don't claim to have all the experience and wisdom to dictate what other people should or shouldn't do with their money.

Btw, I've never complained about mmorpg prices. If you've read my post, I didn't defend them. It was a rant about people complaining about other people complaining.

But hey, I don't mean to belittle your majesty's wisdom and status. image

Okay, first off, sociality isn't a word.  I assume you're talking about the study of society which is Sociology.  Perhaps if you'd stayed in University for more then one semester before dropping out you wouldn't have made that mistake.

And I'd like to point out that you were the one who made this personal first.  And I'd respond to the rest of your post here but I don't know what your point is.  So with that, back to school for you.
