ive tried this game for about 2 weeks and my character is only lvl 12.... i can hardly ever connect. ive tried numerous times at different parts of the day and no luck... any1 have any tips?
Dunno any tips for you to connect better, except keep trying. However i can answer the question, y are all servers crowded? From what i heard coz it is full with bots~~~~
you are indeed correct junkroom, the reason the servers are so crowded is due greatly upon the enormous amount of bots.
You might be lucky and can log on during non-peak hours, and just leave your char and game running 24/7 (unless you get disconnected) if you're really looking to play.
Otherwise, only good way to get logged in would be to purchase a premium ticket from the item mall that gives you priority access supposedly.
I've heard that there are a few servers, maybe 4 or 5. And so many people play so it would be crowded and it will lag very much. I suggest that you wait until they get more servers.

Who said that? We have 20 servers now and all of them crowded. Theyre going to open two servers in near future.
its stupid that they continue to bring in new servers. they should devote their money and efforts to reducing the profuse amount of cheating thats going on. If they could prevent bots from getting into the upcoming servers then i would play again in a heart beat.
lol man u dont know how wrong u are there are tons of server thecrowding is cause by all the botters and this gameused to rok b4 all the botters came just pass this gameuntill aof this gets fixed or should i say if it gets fixed.I dought itthe gms dont give a crap about this version they just made this to get money for the korean version. And just to say it again there are tons of serversits all the bots causing the crowding there are like 15 or more servers
Well, they've been cracking down a lot and I was talking to my friend he admins there, and he says he bans aproxemetley 10 botters an hour so, they should flee eventully.
well they dobanned most of the botter but 100% for sure those banned botter will always keep coming back with their new character as well So there is no point of banning them still can see they keep on coming and coming and make the server even hard 2login.
Geez, I really think this is not an ideal game for ppl anymore
Mainly bots and as a consequence, players not disconnecting when they don't play, rather going AFK with their stall open, so that they don't risk not being able to log back in.
Add to that players who create side accounts for the sole purpose of having a stall open 24/7...
And I'm not buying that "my friend who's admin bans 10 bots an hour". I've never seen any GM online. That's the main problem, the company isn't active enough on the field. They publish a list of banned accounts once in a blue moon, and it takes barely 2 days before the servers are filled with bots again.
In the meantime, people still pay for this game, why should Joymax bother putting some effort?
Latest lazy quick cash fix: buying a premium ticket lets you connect even if the server is full. So basically, the "Free to Play" aspect is going right through the window, they're not solving any of these issues, merely trying to cash in some more for no counterpart at all.
Silkroad Online is so badly managed it's not even funny.

Hey Everyone
The problem with crowded servers is twofold.
Mainly bots and as a consequence, players not disconnecting when they don't play, rather going AFK with their stall open, so that they don't risk not being able to log back in.
Add to that players who create side accounts for the sole purpose of having a stall open 24/7...
