Most of the people who visit this site played wow so much ...that they started to hate it .
WoW has 8 milion players , nothing else sead ^_^ half that number are chinese players who haven't even got BC yet (not released), funnily enough over 300,000 (out of NA's 2 million) in North America have still to upgrade to BC. More so in Europe where BC compared to WoW has largely been ignored. although BC did top the charts at 2.4 million in the first month (worldwide) breaking the month record, it's peaked at 3.2 million by the start of May, didn't quite keep up, did it every expansion blizzard realises is another nail in the coffin. As long as Tigole is in charge of development all you'll see is another raid that only 10% of guilds will see, and more reputation grinds than you can shake a stick at. WoW hasn't delivered anything original for years (hell they had player housing in Beta, couldn't have taken them 2 years to get it a little bit proper now could it)
WoW still sells, but then blizzard still bans bots and with WoW at an all time low (£9.99) with the amount of profit a gold seller can get... well there's bound to be a co-relation to sales/bannings. right
WoW has even started merging battlegroups in the US, however in EU they've encountered problems, due to where the various servers are and the lack of connections. WoW has reached the top, and it won't go any higher... all downhill from here, which is why blizzard is hard at work making their new "next gen" MMO - no one notice the people they've been hiring recently... tch
NO new servers since January, whereas before it was at least every 2 months. And with player transfers almost available on EVERY server blizzard has, somethings bound to have gone wrong with the population numbers

No Blizzard does not reccons that World of Warcraft is dieing because.. it is not.
The fact that new servers arent coming up doesnt means the population is decreasing. IMO it probably means that they still have enough room on the actual ones.
So you are quite wrong IF you think the game is going "downhill" or something.

because battleground (cross realm SERVERS) being merged together is considered a GOOD thing for you and shows blizzard's game is INCREASING in population.

Absolute nonesense. A poll is just a poll and it reflects what people think and not what they actually do. You ask if WoW is the number one, just take a look at all the threads and you notice that the first thing people do is compare new stuff to WoW. That says it all! People are all eager to have something better then WoW but the truth is nothing has been so sucessfull as yet.

This site is made so people can find new mmo's to play. Usualy here, you get people who are coming from other games, that refuse to play wow, for some personal reason, so they rate it low with out even playing it. What mmorpg.com should do, is give us their ratings of mmos. Just get a council together and have them rate the games. MAYBE!!! Even use the donations to this site, so that all these people do is play MMO's, get from lvl 1 to ...... and find out what the game is really about. Not have people who never played the game, rate them

errm i have been on this site 3 months i had a other account but forggot user and pass i seen it on once but it has not been on a long time
