    1. War is suppose to come out the first quarter of 2008(jan,feb,march)

    2. War is 80% based PVP 20% PVE. nomatter what you do in the game you are contributing to the war between the Empire and Destruction. this game is not gear dependant like WoW and some other mmo's. if you like pvp, you'll love this game! there are instancesdungeans but they are not long. its basically a get in, kill the boss quickly, get out type of instance. there are no support classes meaning every class in the game is able to PVP; unlike in most other games were healers and tanks were not able to kil someone else.

thats just a bit of info...if you really wanna find out alot watch videos from youtube . the below link is a really informative vid.

First off.....it's Order....Order....ORDER. The Empire is one of the 3 Races on the side of Order in this game.

The 80/20 is not accurate either. When you start out, the Tier 1 zone will probably be 80% PvE and 20% PvP. The Tier 2 zone will probably be 60% PvE and 40% PvP. Tier 3 will most likely end up swapped with T2 at 40% PvE and 60% PvP. Tier 4 will be a mirror of Tier 1 at 20% PvE and 80% PvP. Overall, this ends up with the game being half PvP and half PvE. It's just you will spend more of your playing time in the Tier 4 zone which means you will spend most of your time in the PvP heavy areas.

I'm sorry, but i must correct you, it ORDER vs. destruction, ill be rolling a dwarf, not a sissy human.

but otherwise cracker has pretty much got it down, its based on the fluff (made up history) of the warhammer world, based on the table top version.  it is a mostly PVP oriented game, but u help the war effort even when you are questing.

great places to find more info are the official EA-Mythic warhammer sites (watch the podcasts and pauls video blog) and youtube seems to have everything =P also sights like WARherald and only-WAR.com are good

I'll tack on an additional question.

At low levels will you be able to travel to other low level ally zones. Say if you're a high elf will you be able to meet up with your dorf playing friends early on?

actually there is support classes and tank classes, just not the same as most other mmos.  Support classes are still meant to be fighters, still not much known about it but apparently they heal or buff while they fight with the others.

Well I watched a podcast and he said travel would be fast... but then the same thing could be said for any mmo... if you're of the right level, know where to go and got the money or something similar. I mean in WoW sure you can run a night elf to the dorf/gnome start area but it's not something normal newbie can do it.

I just want to know specifically if the lowbies can meet up the day they make their characters easily. I checked the website but didn't see much regarding those specific questions.

Somehow, I highly doubt it will be easily done.  Unless of course there's a safe place to travel through to each kingdom.  No one know's all the game specifics, a question like this is more or less a sit and wait around to find out.

Well in one of the podcasts i think it said you should run into the other armies within about 10 hours of normal gameplay for the first time gamer, but if you already know where the town is you can get there quickly
