CCP bought out whitewolf, and in return for making the world of darkness game white wolf is going to make everything following
it's what white wolf does, have you played a whitewolf board game? if you have you'd understand why this is esciting
I'd also liek to point out the EvE CCG has been outselling magic for 6 months in eruope now and has the highest payout at gencon

White Wolf is great for storytelling. They have great writers.
The EVE online store has been notoriously bad at delivering items.

I agree EvE TV being priced is stupid

but pay per minate sounds like a cell phone text service

The game isn't from the USA. It is from EU, where the world is much different. It might be considered cool to wear an EVE hat over there. Over in California where I'm from, people make fun of you for it. It's quite a shame that everyone is too busy watching MTV.
eve larp..... omg ide pay to see that it would be so damn funny to watch (has mental image of papermache hyperion and raven models with legs throwing tennis balls at eachother and running around eachother trying to orbit ROFLMAO)
anyway i don't see a problem with this "waste of resources". in reality most of it is good marketing. dont think the rpg will go far nor will eve-tv.
They bought out one of the best storytelling and game mechanics designers (for non videogames). So why the hell not put their purchase to good use.
also I'm in TX and ive never once been laughed at for wearing my eve shirt. (and someone who would laugh at you for wearing a shirt about a hobby is prolly not worth taking their opinion into consideration)

meaning you can be roleplaying a wearwolf in a spaceship

There are storytellers that have gone with futuristic chronicles in outer space. As well as mix the worlds of DnD and their rules with Vampire/Werewolf.
What I'm trying to say... In pen and paper, your imagination is the limit. You have to see past the rulebooks (which are more like guidelines). If there will be an EVE PnP, it will be easier for those futuristic chronicles to image ships, stations and what not.

crap I didn't put the quote up there... I was talking about people larping eve-online. It was on the white wolf forums. The EVE PnP will not have any character sheet for when you are out of your ship. meaning playing with a character sheet form any of the world of darkness books will be 100% ok.What I'm trying to say...
