Favorite Weapons

LoD254LoD254 Member Posts: 373

Since we have been on the "What do you prefer?" topics i figured this was a good idea to post about.

What weapon is your favorite and why?

Pick anything, and I mean anything. Like flying sheep from Wurms Armageddon to real stuff like your keyboard.

I'm still thinking about mine, but I've got the gf and some friends talking to me so it's hard to think. I'll get back to you.

R/L? A 6 D-cell Maglite. Completely legal hanging on your belt or in your hand. Solid. Can swing it or jab with the back end effectively to keep someone out of your space.

    Since its my choice........

    Revenge_Evacuator.jpg

These "NASTY LITTLE INGREDIENTS" are just what you may need for that special someone. Manfactured under contract by DSG laboratories to fulfill the occasional unusual operational requirement of the CIA and other federal agents, these products are now available for non-government sale. The EVACUATOR is made from a unique natural bark. When mixed with food or liquid, it will cause total uncontrollable "EVACUATION" via natural route, STAND CLEAR! Tasteless, Oderless! One vial per serving

    or.

    Revenge_Vomit_Fluid.jpg

Just empty this nasty vial into any drink. First of all, the unfortunate drinker begins to feel queasy. Then after a little while comes the projectile vomiting. Oderless, tasteless! One vial per serving.

A stout stick. You can't go wrong with a stout stick. I would have gone with katanas once as well, but I did Iaido for a bit and it really brought it home that the sole purpose of a sword is to kill someone, and that is very rarely my desire (and even when I do get the urge to kill it fades fairly rapidly ::::02::)

I suppose technically it's obvious that a sword is purely for killing, but having been raised on martial arts films, fantasy books etc I got into the whole thing of the sword being a symbol for much more than that, and also being something cool to wave around and flourish etc.

Doing Iaido was just like "No, foolish child. A sword is for swiftly and efficiently cutting vital parts of your opponents body. If you move your sword three times then you should have either killed three people or made absolutely certain one person is dead."

So with that interesting but illusion-shattering episode behind me I think I'll stick to stout sticks. You can wave them around to your hearts content and if neccessary you can render opponents unconscious or break bits without actually killing them, which fits in with my ideology a lot better.

The plus side was that while doing iaido I bought a bokken (wooden sword) that feels like it was a pretty hefty baseball bat in a former life but looks like a katana, so I've got the best of both worlds ::::28::

LOL, it is that goofy stuff that keeps me from playing that game. Those goofy oversized anime weapons...

Crack me up every time I see them.

Well being that I have a dial-up account and can't play Call Of Duty online, I fixed me up a very accurate and fully automatic Panzerfaust. Also made some hand grenades that were like mini Daisy Cutters :) It is fun to play God once in a while.

Well, I have never been in a fight that involved weapons of any sort, so I guess I've no right to choose. Had I a right to choose I might have to go with a baseball bat for in real life. Only problem is that cheating basta-errr-Good-for-nothings grapple so you couldn't get a good swing.

Maybe some sort of claws. I have to admit that I'm surprised I'm the first to say claws.

Maybe liquid nitrogen in some sort of spray mechanism... That'd sting like hell.

    "Lowlander" Two-handed Great Sword

    image

Wielded with untamed ferocity on many a Gaelic battlefield, the massive Lowlander sword vividly illustrates the might of the Scots of old. Known as "Slaughter-Swords" in the 16th century, these were the swords of choice for Scottish mercenaries of the period, and at close to six feet long the Lowlander makes a fearsome sight.

    BLADE LENGTH: 48"
    HANDLE LENGTH: 21"
    OVERALL LENGTH: 69"
    WEIGHT: 7lb 15oz

That thing would be so hard to wield. Cut you in half with one swipe, though...

Oh, and I agree with the whole 'guns are for pansies' thing.

    Here's my favorite weapon:

    image

I bought this back in January and I love it. It shoots nice and the recoil isn't too bad.  And its dead on even at 50+ yards. Not bad for a compact
