I AM A CONAN FAN SO I MIGHT BE A LITTLE BYASSED.BUT IVE PLAYED A LOT OF MMO AND I SAY WOW IF FUN BUT I THINK EVERY GAMER NEEDS A CHANGE AND I THINK AGE OF CONAN IS IT IF READ EXTENSIVELY ON THE GAME SO.BUT NEVER PLAYED WHEN IT COMES OUT I HOPE ITS BETTER THAN WOW AND CAN KEEP YOU PLAYING.SO LETS HEAR SOME OPINIONS ON THIS TOPIC.

Iama conan fan so it might be a little byassed. But ive played a lot of mmo and i say wow is fun but i think every gamer needs a change and i think age of conan is it if read extensivly on the game so. But never played when it comes out i hope its better than WoW and can keep you playing. So lets hear some opinions on this topic.
A little tip Caps lock keys are like shouting and therfore generally frowned apon so i hope this little responce is informative.
Isnt AoC getting a mature rating, if so then your at a lost since you wont be there yet. Maybe soon though, maybe....

First of all, lay off the caps, dude. Secondly, the biggest difference between the two games is that WoW has been released and AoC has not. Repost this topic after AoC is on the shelves and everyone has had a chance to play it. Then a more accurate comparison can be drawn.
Yes, please report and ask this question once Age of Conan has come out. Then make your comparisions on each game. and Also, please for the love of god,....No Caps!!! You will get ignored if all you do is use Capital letters.

butter88 he isnt the future AOC playerbase at least I hope not. Will definitely lessen my immersion to see WoW L33T talk in conan world. I play WoW currently and general and trade channels are a horrible insight to the "community" that WoW has. it is at times down right pathetic at times to to the point i shut off general chat, because its filled up to the brim with worst tripe of idiots you can imagine, with a few "mature and intelligent people" sprinkled in.

Well I believe aoc will be a more innovative game then wow which will probably make it more fun and in depth, also the company mythic seems to put more imagination considering doac compared to blizzard with wow.
You can't compare WoW to age of Conan. They are so different in every way that it seems all but impossible.
I just hope we don't get WoW's player base coming over to AoC.

I haven't played AOC, and I don't know anyone who has. I believe the previous statement is true of just about everyone in the entire world.
Ummm yes you can wow and eq2 are differant yet people still compare, you can compare mmorpgs because people want to decide on whats worth there time and money to play. And I think everyone should try them out and compare to find out what they enjoy the most.
But we still know that it will have things wow doesnt and we seen gameplay videos, yes you need to try it out fully to be able to understand the enjoyment in the game but its not hard to see that mythic knows what there doing and will make sure there game is competitve against wow.

Do not compare WoW to AoC! , they are completely different, gameplay and graphics alike
I still dont see your point, I have seen people compare wow to cox I just dont get why your saying you cant compare, some mmorpgs are just better then others and people will always compare accept it.
Yes, people compare every game to every other game, even though those games are nothing alike. Point is, there is no good reason to compare such games. You play and like whatever game style you prefer. Kinda dumb to accept comparison between two games that are nothing alike, gameplay wise.
People do a lot of things that don't make sense, including comparing AoC to WoW.
Can you really compare the original Atari games to, say, nintendo 64 games? They're in the same category, but it's not fair to hold one up to the other's standards.
What's more stupid is that AoC hasn't even been released yet. At best, you can compare purported features, but I think that's just stupid at this point.

Lets compare graphics the cartoonish style of wow really doesn't appeal to me but the dark and realistic nature of the art in AOC I think is gonna be great in a mmo.
