Hey everone, I'll start by saying i have an utter piece of shit computer, so i was wondering if there was any tricks or tips you guys have for getting games to run better on slower computers other than just turning the graphics down? for example i heard running games im compatibility mode can smooth things out? in particular im trying to get city of heroes/villains to run good but id appreciate any tips

    Well, you can do a lot to tweak Windows XP, turn off a lot of unnecessary processes that use memory.. follow this guide www.tweakhound.com/xp/xptweaks/supertweaks1.htm

    If it's a dell...buy a new computer.

    Or you could pick up a book about fixing and repairing your pc, or customizing it.

    www.newegg.com should have all the parts you need.

    I'm guessing you need a new video card and more ram in your computer.
