I'm sorry if someone had already started this type of thread, but I wanted to know everyone's views and choices on the upcoming MMORPGs. If I missed any title, please write them down.
I've been recently experimenting on several MMORPGs and I had just bought a very powerful computer for online gaming, so I'd like to hear your responses on which game will PWN them all! (excluding existing games with upcoming expansions)
Currently Playing: 3ds Max 2009

I'm starting to wonder if they should be called MMORPG's any longer, but MMOAG's, Massive Multiplayer Action Games.
The Old Timers Guild
Laid back, not so serious, no drama.
All about the fun!

By the way, I'm looking forward to Warhammer and AoC.

i think Aion will be the most world-wide success, i thing AoC will do the best in America
BioWare's MMO...
Which is probably:
Dragon Age, the RPG they are working on and that was awarded many prizes at E3 in 2004...yet no press release since about Dragon Age? I may be dumb, but not that dumb! Bring on the goodies and keep telling us nothing, I know! My gaming life will change when this game hit the shelves, and it will rock the MMO world. Real devs working on a MMO, about time!

Darkfall or POTBS
AAH! A troll fire! Quick, pour some Kool-Aid on it!!!
i say keep calling them mmorpgs so they can become a part of this site and i vote for age of conan just because with the success of anarchy.

Rise of Kunark expansion for EQ 2.
Its not listed but i'm eagerly awaiting Star Trek : Online
Starcraft 2? Sorry buy its not an MMO in any sense of the phrase. However I voted for WAR.

Let all the WoW kids play WAR.
World of Darkness: White Wolf and CCP.. man that tastes good!

1. Shadowbane : Overhauled
Ok I'm kidding on the name part but not really when I say that it SORELY needs graphical and controls (WASD can?) makeovers. Amongst other things.
2. Mythos
From 'splintered' Blizzard guys (which means that they most prolly have a completely different PoV on how WoW should have been done =p) and tentatively f2p. Heck..why the hell not?
3. Darkfall
**prepping extinguishers** Yeah, yeah please contain those *coughs coughs vaporware* sniggers please. If it's able to come out with even just half of all features, I'm one of those in line most definitely.
4. Perfect World
**link won't work yet till launch - possibly on/after this 29th - source: mmosite forums** . What can I say? I still have faith in the Asian system.
5. Anarchy Online : Overhauled
I don't think I have to add anything here. It's just a classic that needs polishing now and then... eh then again it's been a bit too long already. The latest news (well weeks old already) on game+graphics' engine changes are very exciting prospects indeed.
I'm waiting for, The Agency, Infinity The Quest for Earth and The Secret World. There hasn't been enough to make make me decide how good these games will be but they all sound interesting. Not one of them is your normal mmog.
I've been looking at Star trek online but I expect it to be alot like other mmos. aoc and war don't interest me.
Yup yup. Ditto on all of your futuristic/sci-fi/espionage list thomas. We really do need drastic changes in themes (well not that drastic it seems, it's been a heck of a long time..).

?waiting: *Darkfall*, Hero''s Journey
Yay someone actually listed Ragnarok 2 in thier poll.
Warhammer Online by far. Looks to be a solid game with more casual factors than WoW but with the same strengths as WoW. Also, the Dev Team seems to have personality and be more able to cater to MMO fans.
Im waiting for monster hunter frontier, hopefully it comes soon but not much has been said about it..
I know, but I knew a lot of ppl would love to play it. That's why there's a "?" next to it. ^_^
I'm actually surprised by the high percentage in "MY GAME ISN'T LISTED!!!" and the very low percentaged in "Gods and Heroes".
Warhammer Online seems to be the hottest single title. My thoughts on that is...it looks alot like Warcrack and since I've already invested in Warcrack, I'd rather stick with it than play another WoW'ish game. When LOTRO came out, a lot of critics called it a WoW copycat however noting that the overall composition of the game was in fact better than WoW but it was still a WoW copycat.
I wonder if Warhammer Online will be treated the same way with the critics. (most noticably, X-Play and Gamespot said LOTRO was a WoW copycat)

Mine wasn't listed: Pirates of the Burning Sea.
Age of Conan for me:D
Definately Age of Conan for me. Looks to offer the best pvp a mmo can offer, with it's exciting action based combat and rts elements.
Also looking forward to Starcraft 2 though that is not a mmo.
