Does anybody know if there is any OFFICIAL information about KotOR 3?
I have a problem....I don't play enough. Even though I'm usually on my comp playing RuneScape.

As far as I'm concerned, there wasn't a sequel. Sith Lords was a bugged, unfinished piece of crap that left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Knights of the Old Republic was a masterpiece of storytelling. And I really quite fancied Bastilla or whatever that jedi woman was called. It never worked out though, I only ever got to first base and then the game ended. Relationships with NPCs are fruitless endeavors.

KotOR 2 wasn't that bad, although it is massively bugged and massively unfinished (a whole planet is missing from the game >.<) But for a game developed in about a year, its pretty good.
What I am asking though, is if there is any news about it...I know that it hasn't been released (or else this topic wouldn't exist) I really just want to get my hands on a new storyline from KotOR (hopefully with full developing time this time)
And whats with the sci-fi fantasies? Besides, Handmaiden and Mira from KotOR 2 were way hotter...too bad you didn't even get a swing...

If you don't like the KotOR games, why bother to post about it? This is a discussion about whether or not the game is even in production, because I haven't heard a single confirmation from a credible source yet. If you ever bother to find out, please feel free to post your findings, otherwise please take your hate elsewhere.

Mass Effect will be very different from KotOR 3, both story and gameplay will probably be vastly different.
Although Mass Effect will probably have a good story as well.

If they do make a KotOR MMO, it won't be a continuation of the series, and thus not be KotOR 3. How many game franchises do you know that have reoccurring characters and story plots that have become MMOs? A KotOR MMO just wouldn't be the same as the original 2, so if it is in development, it will be a completely different game with only hints at the other 2 games' story lines, not a full-fledged game in the KotOR series, but a knock off.

What Rikimaru said is essentially true...though there is very little reputable fact behind the rumor, it's mostly wishful thinking. Don't get me wrong, I wishfully think that Kotor 3 will be an MMO as well
...but I don't want a continuation of the story really, I just want a good MMO set in that period of Star Wars history...it's just such fertile ground for players to really matter (and be powerful jedi) because so little is set in stone about that period of time in the Star Wars Universe.

Yo Corb, I'm not thinking about the story or anything man. That's just what the rumor is about. It could go back to a time when Jedi's was common? Well I only played II so I don't know.

A lot of people tell me that the first one is better than the second. Once I finish the second I will go to the first one. I do have to admin there are parts in the second one that I really just dont get. Like they left something BIG out.

I'm sure the first one will fill in some of the blanks, but KotOR 2 was developed in about a year, so there is a lot missing (a planet for that matter) and it is very buggy. But it is still overall a very good game. Although the second one had far more gameplay options (such as different characters pending your gender and prestige classes)

Good god just stop playing the second one right now... and go to the first... seriously.. The first game is a frickin amazing game... the second is just meh...
