Basically, the review says that the f2p version that's capped at lvl 20 is a decent distraction but that there's no reason to ever buy the retail/P2P version. Unfortunately, I can't even try out the F2P version as the client I downloaded from the official website was infected with a trojan and I'm not messing around with it again.

crappy review, the guy didnt even understand the billing scheme.
What did he get wrong about the payment model? He explained how both the F2P and P2P versions worked.

oops, you are right i didnt go to the last page where he describes the premium service.
This game is so great IT PLAYS ITSELF!!! Seriously I just tried the free trial and leveled 3 characters to level 20 in no time at all(About 7-8 hours total playing time....way to easy). This game is a total snooze fest and I think this reviewer actually was very kind in what he said about it. This game has the dubious distinction of being the only game I've ever played to actually put me to sleep while playing and this includes the original Dungeon Siege(Another game that plays itself). If your into any kind of intelligent interaction with a game your playing pass this game up as it is so easy and basically has botting routines built right into the game itself. I would give this game a 10 for graphics, a 7 for music and sound effects but only a 2 for game play as there is very little of it. Basically you just sit there and watch your toons do all the fighting on their own with very little interaction needed by the player(You only need to pick up drops now and then). Overall I give it a 4 out of 10.....very bad game.

apparently at least one of the official download links lead to a site that had a trojan, I checked and it was back to normal. Yeah it smashed our data on the drive attacking silkroad and other files...re-format was the only real fix I trusted.
Don't ya eat the yellow snow!
So how long did u play? Until lvl 20?
And then you want to give a rating? Surely until around lvl 37 u dont need any skills, but even in that time u can lvl up much faster if u use the charskills.
And later (i am lvl 65) u can forget it to sleep while playing.
Its just an easy start, who cares, the most simple mmorpg in the world is also the most successful (wow xD). So it cant be wrong to start easy, but if u would have played a little bit longer, u would know that u talk ******** xD
U cant even afk level after u reach ~lvl 60 usually the group dies after 30 minutes to 1 hour, so u dont get much afk xp when u go to sleep.
And this is the just another example why people should actually play the game for a while. After the first few levels, Its starting to get next to impossible to "auto play", unless you fight monsters many, mant levels below you. The strength of the mobs increases significantly over time and by the time you hit level 35 ~ 45, you're going to need to use skills to actually gain a reasonable amount of XP since the name of the game is to kill as many mobs as possible in the least amount of time, and auto attack is just not going to cut it. In fact, when I reached level 50 in beta, I had to create a new set of characters because my current team, which was build on normal auto attack as opposed to a team that is build on skills, kept getting killed over and over again.
To get back to the OP: The review was a bit poor. Its dissapointing that there was so little info on the stance system, UPC system, PVP system etc. pity.
No I didn't play past level 20 so you have me there. I just figured that I would have to be really stupid to pay to play a game that bored me to tears for 20 levels. Any game that carries you through the starting levels like your saying this one does isn't worth my time quite frankly. If it gets harder after 20 and you like it more power to you I just won't waste my money on it as I see it as a waste of my time when there are plenty of games that let me actively play them from level one.

Gameloading is correct, First few low levels can be auto attacked thats just baby steps. Later on around level 30+ things can get hairy if you dont know how to manage each of your characters. You'll end up dead when you try auto attack mobs at those higher levels. The gameplay is very unique and challenging. Its a quality title.
Also, this is not the first review.
Honnestgamers gave the game a perfect 10. Hardcore gamer magazine gave the game a 4 out of 5.
