Its only free if you meet certain requirements.

    1>  You bought Vanguard.

    2.  You ticked the box that allows Sony to contact you with certain offers (you see this box when you sign up for a game).

    3.  You dont already own EQ2.

i played vanguard until this month, i cancelled in june though, i never checked the recieve promos, and i never got this offer, i chatted with support today and he said they are sending it to tier 2, haha, more or less i threatened them with wtf..., i played over 6 months of vanguard, played since beta 3, and never received this promo..... if i dont qualify then youve just lost a customer for life, no matter what game it is.

Why should you get to play it for free if you didn't do what was required to do to recieve the offer? Doesn't make since to my why people get pissed at Sony for giving free game time to people choose to click on the box that lets Sony send customers promos like this.

  • Soe support compared clicking on that recive promo offers like winning the lottery. I bet over 50% of the people with a station account havent even noticed that option, its not like it says - play to win here! The problem is that many of those who did not get the offer will feel left out, sold out, and not treated equally, and maybe a few of the subscribers also feels unappriciated and will leave. Im sure soe will gain some people by giving this offer free, but in the same time, pissing off alot of people. Thats why I dont like this "cheap tactic"

Everyone had the same chance to click on the button. So if someone wins the lottery it gives people the right to be pissed off because they didn't even play the lottery?
