Fantastic Alternative Over Blizzard / Warcraft

I personally aim at a short time to play (an hour or two) since I have school and work to fulfill.  This game allows that, and does it very well.  It's also about half the the subscription price of many larger MMO games and includes core concepts of the RPG genre at a solid level.

I delete characters if I dislike them for some odd reason without much hesitation.  I'm the type who may spend two odd months building up a basic character then just get rid of it without notice.  The advantage this game carries is that you can change your own personal team around.  Want the challenge of no healing?  You can do that!  Do you prefer high DPS to bulldoze over dozens of enemies Diablo style?  This game allows for that too.

Sword of the New World, or sometimes called Granado Espada, involves features commonly found on major game systems like the X-Box 360 or even PS3.  I would compare it similar to Devil May Cry with a type of party-focused RPG style.  The Elementalist can add serious damage to your group.  The Musketeer protects the group with its long-range single death dealing.  The Wizard offers mastery over your opponents for beguiling out of situations.  If you like a character that can use a variety of anything, the Warrior can fill just about any role and attract enemies to keep your party alive.  Finally, the Scout can deal massive damage if it's not tanking for you or even be your party's dedicated healer to keep your game running smoothly.

It's a Korean MMO so the content comes more concentrated that normal American MMOs where it can take months to achieve a similar goal.  A lot of the tweaking deals with inviting new characters or playing around with the game's array of weapons and poses.  Overall, Sword of the New World provides a faster pace than many MMO games that compare with a home gaming system from Sony or Microsoft.

Give Sword of the New World a try!  I think you'll like it.  The game recently came from Beta status so there are a couple of issues.  If you're like me, you probably can appreciate and play more than just a single game on your computer.  It even urges to "Take breaks between long play sessions."  If you like PvP and the challenge of facing live opposition, I suggest going with a "Baron" server.  Like a spice in a tasty dish, this accents well with other types that share characteristics for PvP or RPGs to allow a blend for whatever gaming mood you might be in.

I'm glad you like the game :=)

Personally, I installed and played for like 15 minutes then have to remove the game. Its not the game that I dont like. Its the design that I dont like. It seems like they made out of Macromedia Flash or something :=)

    Hope you enjoy!

    flash player eh? Really? heh...

Game is gorgeous, attacks are well done, the pvp is intense and skill based (I.E. better you play your character the better you will do), the game does not look like a crappy flash game.

However, it is a asian grind game... and its not for everyone.
