With the long weekend coming up, I was just thinking, what are all of my fellow MMORPG.com users doing this weekend?

Also what does the 4th of July mean to you?  Does it mean anything?  Or is it just a long weekend?

    The annual football game is coming up in my neighborhood. On the 5th we split up into teams and we play in this field just outside the neighborhood and we play. The losers have to choose one person from the winning team to buy a meal. Heheh, I am going to pick all the big people for my team so even if we do lose, I won't have to pay a bunch.

    Hrmm. I could go downtown to see the fireworks, or I could see the fireworks in the city that I live in. I don't think I'm going anywhere. I might just go to Meijer's and buy some fireworks. It pretty much means a big weekend to me. But then again, my entire summer is just one big weekend.
    4th of July doesn't really signify independence for me. I think it's more of a dangerous weekend where lots of people just light off fireworks. Maybe the media should stress the fact that this day many years ago, we gained our independence! But I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!

    w00t!  i've been waiting for someone to put up a topic like this, its cool to see what everyone else will be doing if their not playing their game.

    i am a reserve at the local police station and the 4th is the happenen time to be on patrol or the dispatch center.  lots of stuff going on that night.  the guys on the road will pull people over for the whole night, and the phones in the dispatch center dont stop ringing.  its lots of fun and gives me a good look at what some real fun is like in a small town.

    I Have To Work 10pm-7am on the 3rd so ill prly sleep all day thru the 4th, then wake up on the 4th around 8-9pm and go to work again

    I know this sin't about the 4th of july but i was reading when i realized Darkman's avatar is snapping to "Misery" by Greenday. It was playing perfectly inline with his avatar as i scrolled... caught my eye.

     hehe that's weird. The same thing happened to me. I was listening to "I wanna be a Kennedy" By Kill Hannah. The beggining it makes this sort of techno beat in the background of the song which the avatar snaps to, and then when it gets to the hard rock part with guitars the avatar is also stomping his foot to the dum beat as well. Pretty cool image

    Well apparently that's all changed. I already bought some fireworks about an hour away from here and it was in the middle of hicksville. ::::07:: But we bought $60.00 worth expecting to spend $200. It was a pretty good deal. The fireworks are good works. They're fun. ::::02::

    I live in hicksville. Half our school is farmer, the rest think they are black... well maybe its not completely 50/50 there are other of us.

    Grad parties r good for fireworks if you can find one. I have one tonight, and maybe I'll do the ton fireowkrs tomorrow.

     Speaking of fireworks, on Canada day we had a really awesome firework to shoot off. We set it down, lit it and then ran off about 20 feet away to watch. While it was about to go off, something made it tip over on it's side and it was facing right at us. We dove out of the way, the firework flew off right by us gliding over the cement and hit a brick wall.
