has the cussing lessend at all

i remember when i was in CB almost every line of every npc had fuck bitch or some cuss word in it . though i dont really give a shit if they use it or not its just the overall occurency of using cuss words in the dialogs it kinda took you away from the whole feel of the game.

 

so has anyone any idea of it being lessened at all?

    Either your exaggerating or it has changed a lot since CB than....because I have talked to some NPC's, and yes some curse alot, but I have talked to quite a few that do not curse even once. Also, if you do not like the cursing..here's some good news. On the podcast they said that they are tweaking it, and editing out alot of that stuff....becuase people have complained a lot about it on forums. I have noticed some changes in this myself.

    There's still cursing and in some cases it still doesn't fit, but I have to give it to Acclaim in that it's no longer shamefully/pathetically excessive to the extreme.

    I agree...in some cases, it is pretty excessive and can be kind of out of place...and sounds pretty stupid, but they have lessened  it alot, and it doesnt sound like a tough 12 year old anymore.

    Actually that is not as stupid as you might think it is. The blood is necessary because it's realistic, but...the cursing is not realistic at all. The reason? Well..these games are situated in a fantasy setting yes, that is not real....but...they are supposed to be medeival is it not? In the middle ages, curse words were not around. Well....if you don't know. Most curse words were created after the middle ages..I know it's a fact that the F word, was in 16th century england. Most words were not created or even used at the middle ages time period. So, for the game to use curse words..the way it does...is VERY unrealistic. The way that they use it is also quite stupid, in the beginning of CB and OB, they just threw the words in there...it was everywhere and sounded like a little tough 12 year old was talking...not a battle hardened soldier...
