Yes it does. But the QB is supposed to be the leader of the team and is supposed to set the tone. What kind of tone did he set for the Falcons? IT is not like this is the first bad thing that has come up since he has been a Pro.

Your list there is good and has a lot of Talent, but Brady trumps them all because of SB rings. Manning is a better QB and finally won the superbowl. Heck even Big Ben won a superbowl and he isn't anywhere near as a good of an "athlete" as the scramblers you are mentioning.

We slaugther massive ammounts of cows, chickens, pigs, lambs, fish, and and other animals. To be honest they are killed in way less humane ways than drowning. Ever seen a decapitated chicken or rooster?
Ever seen a chef prepare live seafood? It is worse than anything vick did. A common delacy all over the world is a live fish with a skewer in its brain so it is paralyzed. The fish is prepared while still alive. The the portions are served off of the fish while it is still alive.
I just do not understand the doublestandard. I think pet owners are the most cruel of them all. Confine a live animal to a room or part of the house for all of its existance. Sounds like slavery and imprisonment to me. How is that any worse than having dogs fight?
When you look at the food chain.. it is survival of the fittest. It is a fact of nature. Overly sensative people do not grasp this. Society can try to cover up that fact. That is how society is failing the human race... by denying the laws of nature.

Its not a double standard. We have given certain animals a special place in society because they have decided to be our companions all through evolution. Also what they do to these animals to make them into monsters is far beyond the cruelty of being kept in a room as a pet. The next time a fish comes to the door and licks my face because he is happy to see me is the last time I eat one. Also my pet comes and goes as he pleases and is free to walk away anytime.

On a more serious note Dog and Man have had an intertwined relationship for ten thousand years. The first time a wolf walked into camp/village/cave whatever sat next to man and the fire to warm itself and accepted that first piece of meat a realationship was formed. These wolves evolved over time into the companions we know of as dogs over time (basically domesticated wolf dogs and wolves are the same species). Instead of a dominant pack leader being the alpha a dog substitues a human. This relationship has advanced the numbers of wolf kind, and made them one of the most successful species on the planet today. If given the choice between running free, and returning to its human alpha and the rest of its pack the dog will invariably choose the pack over the oppurtunity to roam the wild (dog is not stupid after all free handouts and warm house <yes!> or cold and hungry wild were you have to work for food<yeah right>).
Oh and despite the fact that they end up on our tables Cow, Pig, Chicken, and many other domesticated farm animals are among the most successful species on the planet.

I have the unfortunate distinction of being a denzen of Michael Vick's hometown of Newport News Virginia. He comes from a area of town that is 100% African American, and worships the popular thug culture so this kind of behavior surprised us not at all. You can take the thug our of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the thug. Its a real shame too because the kids around here worshipped him. For some reason the African American community makes fun of intelligent successful members of their community as being too white, and worships thugs and atheletes, and let me tell you we have some real princes from here. Allen Iverson, Michael & Marcus Vick (they had it made all they had to do was behave for crying out loud!). The only athlete we have had from around here that hasn't committed a felony and is known was Aaron Brooks former QB of New Orleans, and now a backup for the Raiders I believe. Wouldn't you know he was one of the worst talent wise <sigh>. I don't know whats going on in the rest of the African American communties around the country, but I know Martin Luther King's dream has gone horribly wrong here. This is not the destiny he envisioned for his people.

I personally think football is the most boring thing in the world, except for baseball and basketball, and don't really care about it.
