dwarfs look like halfling!

i saw a video today and the graphics of the races looked very good but when i saw dwarfs fight some orc the looked alike halfings...too small and no brutishness!nothing like the cool artwork i have seen on the site!
i need your opinion in this!

Dont you spect a "tall" dwarf, do you?
i dont expect them to be tall but in the video they seemed like halflings if you know how the halfings look alike you will understund
what i mean!and if you compare the artwork with the ingame graphics you will see what iam talking about!

WarHammer Dwarves are very short compared to other fantasy worlds. If you look at some of the miniatures it is almost like they don't have legs. Also, WarHammer Dwarves are very fat, not as muscle bound as Dwarves from other games. Halflings have pot bellies but thinner legs and arms.
I don't know how many of you have demo'd / played LOTRO, but I think the dwarfs in that game are very well done. Short and stalky with a barrel chested / warrior physique. WAR has better elves though.
my basic argument is that the artwork i have seen in the site dont have any ralation with the graphics i have seen!
you described me the miniatures from the game and they look alike them in game but i have used to know the drarfs from DnD and other
games much different and i dont like em that way :P!i was thinging of playing an ironbreaker but they dont inspire me so much know to do it!
The -what were those dwarves called in old Wh? troll slayer? some such? - the berserker rune-tatted lunatics?-

they looks pretty similar to me, of course details differs, but the main parts are there.
I think the problem here is that you are comparing dwarves, second smallest race around (first is the goblins) with the orcs and black orcs, the biggest race around.
For using a WoW analogy is like comparing a dwarf to a tauren. the dwarf just look tiny but he is not really tiny... it is the tauren that is HUGE. Same thing here, black orcs are HUGE things. they will stand one head or more higher than anything, even elves.

They look exactly like I wanted. They have very close look to original warhammer dwarfs.
Halflings for me are just paunchy-geek-about-food kids.

I like the dwarfs in WAR. I think the Mythic artsists did a good job making the over-the-top GW miniatures into 3D models.
