Ever since i stopped playing serious hardcore PvE in World of Warcraft ive been searching for a good mmorpg substitute.
I have searched trough mud for a good free mmorpg (since i am in College and have no money), and i tried alot of the asian games, but with no succes, then by an accident i found this game. So i tried it out and now i am giving a reveiw and answering some questions as detailed i can.
(Note: theres is tokens you can buy with IRL money that enhance your gaming, but its not a must to become a good player, besides, they are tradeble so you can buy them with ingame credits by other ppl)
Allright. after the download was done jumped right in the game and choosed the most populated server (i think).
When it came to the Race/Class choice i totally disregarded to read forums after "WICH IS THE BEST CLASS FOR OWNING PPL LOL?", and i just read about them in the info box and decided to go for an orc Berzerker (warrior based class). now heres a pretty big flaw in the game that i wish they fixed: theres really not much choices when it comes to classes and races. if you wanna be an orc warrior you have to be a male and vice versa if you want to be some kind of Sorc. however theres a pretty big character customization, so theres not a bunch of look-a-likes runnin' around in the starter zone.
onwards into the game:
You move around with point and clicking and theres not really much to say about that, it works untill you tries to attack a flying bird. cuse then it takes a couple of tries to actually hit the bird with the cursor :P, but you can always tab to select them, however theres a WASD system implented in the game, and i really urge you to disregard that method, its really buggy. pressing "W" once doesnt move you forth a step, instead it takes a step forward then it lags and your back in place you began. its totally broken.
leveling:
I decided to walk out the starter zone and start leveling, but i came to an halt when i saw a guy with a yellow exclamation mark over its head (WoW ripoff ;P), i pressed him and he gave me a quest involving killing 5 darkspiders, i walked out and double klicked the spider and my orc runs forth and hits him until the spider dies, and i have to admit, it was pretty nice effects when fighting, nothing special but atleast some variation when fighting, its not like other games where your character just hits him from the side, my orc hits my target from different angels. And i dont know what you think, but i thought the leveling actually became a bit more action like. i pick up my loot (where you had to press Space-button). Nothing more to say there actually.
Skills:
When i leveld up i got a info box telling me to go pick out skills, so i walk to the warrior trainer and there i see 4 different tabs. Theres a Combat tab, a Buff tab, a Race tab and a Passive tabs. and everytime you gain a level you get 1 skillpoint wich you get to administer in any tab you want. and theres also a reset skill points button wich gives all your skill points back, however you can only use that once.
Pvp:
Ding. lvl 15. and suddenly i got an info box saying "You are now eligeble to pvp". Now, heres my tought, and some info i heard about pvp. What i felt so far (im currently lvl 20) the class balance is pretty good, ive never got attacked by an equal leveled and didnt even had the time to react. when you engage in pvp i also get the feeling theres alot more action while fighting, you got to use health points wisely and time your attacks. and your buffs are pretty important. theres also some kind of castle siege, but i have not tested it yet.
Rules of pvp:
If you attack some1 that is either some levels over you or atleast 3 levels below, you only get marked for "first attack", this doesnt meen anything except that any1 can attack you w/o any consequenses. but if you attack some1 more than 3 levels below you, you get a roguepoint. when you get to much RP (dont know exact numbers) you get punished, theres 3 different stages. first: you cant group and guards attack on sight. second: same as first and you cant trade or talk to any npc. third: same as the other two and you also loose 10% more xp on death. You can loose your rougepoints by grinding mobs that dropps letters (they only dropp if you got one of the stages). I think this is a pretty good system to prevent idiots from totally raping you in starter zones.
community:
sofar i have not experienced any retards, theres some french and germans that totally disregard common courtesy and they talk their native language in the shouting chat. but if you are like me and played WoW and had to cope with alot of swedes in general, you'll survive. And theres always some1 helping you if you ask, i swear to god, i could ask in the shouting system, "how do i use the shouting system?". and i most probably get a detailed answer.
this is pretty much what i have experienced so far, and i hope it helped.
peace ya'll

I tried to make a more detail review, but some how its fucked up ..(sorry guys --.--!)..but I would borrow this post if you guys want to play this game (not recomment at all)....
Graphic = 8/10 (nice graphic, up to the standard in the game market)
Sound = 7/10 (nice sound...but not impressive)
Game play = 3/10 (quests really annoy, no story line, rewards are not tempting ... this game back to the basic of rpg, slashing mobs is the only joy in game...they also have castle seige in the game, but with the skill are fucked up and identical ..i woudlnt think each class have their own duty in the battle rather than high level kill low level battle...and THEY DONT HAVE A HEALING CLASS... what a joke)
Service = 2/10
a very short time after you join the game, you will see plenty of bots, the game its self doesnt have anti cheat program. Oh, did i tell you my roomate got ban 7days for using "cool down bots", well atleast that what the admin told him when he sent an appeal...poor guy, played his heart out for 1 week and get caught for things he didnt do....The only answer he got when he ask for proof is "we do not disclose our techniques to catch cheaters in the game...and we will not answer your reply anymore" it like you went to Iraq and when sadam say you guilty then u are guilty. The funny things are it seriously easy to see bots in the game, and the game itself doesnt have an anti cheat program but the GM is very sure about their "techniques" of catching cheats while it is a clear case that my poor roomate got kicked in the butt ... )
Balance = 1/10 (this game have absolutely no sense of a balance game)
The below is the skill list of the classes and races in the game...
Human Knight
Orc Berserker
Moonelf Ranger
Human Archer
Orc Hunter
Moonelf Elementalist
Human Mage
Orc Sorcerer
Human Knight and Orc Berserker
Human archer and Orc hunter (both range class)
Human mage and Orc soccerer
Those classes have almost identical skills (combat skill are identical, passive skill 80% identical, only the class's skill are different, the buff skill are alsmot the same)...
