LOL @ SCO bashers

for the record, any1 who bashes SCO and/or xarfox is either som1 who didnt play the game long enough to lear anything, or a bitter noob who got banned for screwing up.  SCO is probubly 1 of the best MMOs out there.  the playing style is more original than "hack, slash, hack, slash, stab, stab, yay money" it involves strategy, teamwork, leadership, and like all MMOs a little bit of luck.  sure it;s got some bugs, but what game doesn't

and on top of that, Xarfox is a very good GM who puts a lot of time into this community.  any1 who tells you otherwise doesnt have a clue.

    ... Whats up with the numbers in your post? they dont make sense there, anyone... wasnt too hard to type. But mainly more on point, I played the game and it was fun for a while, I kept playing though to see if it would be more fun in it later game but nope. Just because your avatar is different, doesnt make the game different from the other boring content-less grind mmorpg's.

    but i fail to see how SCO lacks content.  you wanna talk about a game without content go try Thang Online or Deicide Online.  i still find flying around in am aircraft and shooting ppl/mobs out of the sky far more entertaining than running around with a sword stabbing every1.  SCO takes skill, most other games take point and click pretty much whoever has the best items wins, and that's just boring.

     

      i doubt you will answer the following question, but, What gear did you play? and what lvl did you play to?

    For a game you have to update yourself, you BET it lacks content!



    Granted, before then I would have agreed with you... but NO MMO has enough content to warrent patching from the outside being needed... or registry changes to work on it....



    ....at least a month after the update servers died...

    Chyoe you are a JOKE! I've been playing SCO 4 over a year and I have never seen a game with more problems and less solutions.

    The game could have been grate if it did'nt make you pull your hair out of your scull from having to patch this and fix that and this ERROR and that error. Plus NOONE works at GALA - that or thay just pretend they don't.

    SCO was very fun for me. About two or three months ago I had to switch puters. And, suprise, cant install the game. I'm scared to change files in my puter, thats how the old one got messed up. The FAQ at the SCO site says the new sever will be up in May and then the game can be installed and played. May is over in a few hours and still cant install. I have spent nearly 500 dollars for Gpotatos in the last year and a half. So I have paid my dues, so to speak. And if you want to laugh at me go ahead. I'm not the guy running the game. And my money, and my word, are good. Cant say the same for the people running SCO, as it relates to this one issue. It's the only issue I have with the game as I never had lag issues in flight, and only experienced kill stealing once in 38 levels. I like the PvP and was happy when the non PvP server was put in. And I never found the grind excessive. The people I have spoken with from Gala were nice. I played FLYFF with my late wife, when it first came out . The GM there was Chris, and he was top notch. I and she spoke with him many times, in game, and he helped us older non puter literates, understand things. So I am hopeing that the game will be usable soon. Do I feel jaded? Yes. Is it a big deal? Not to me, but, it is worth mention, as I fail to understand the problem. Maybe thats what the bashing is about .

    Hmmm I think your post contains less content than SCO does!                                              

    As for SCO being the best MMO available today, I can say that it used to be but with the lack of updates and content it is very quickly loosing players and it's position on that ranking table.

    As for how long I have played SCO I have played for several years and am not one to ride a game off very fast, HOWEVER with the problems SCO is currently having I have started looking for other games to spend my time playing.

    So you go ride your high horse around as long as you want, the fact is a lot of people know what SCO does and does not have and the does not is very quickly over taking the does.

    Anyway maybe you should of called yourself SCOFANBOY
