Acclaim instead of banning the gold sellers decided to open it's own gold sell service, they basically have ignored the spamers for years and make it impossible to ignore the spamers nor report them AND obviously do not care about putting GMs in the game since the same names spam for DAYS in the two starter towns and all a GM would have to do was log in & put a stop to it. Instead they set up their own gold sell site!!
About 1.7GB client folder. Lower end game display (cheapo gpu & cpu functional with dial-up.)
I tried to get into this game, but couldn't. I like how they did instancing and I think they have a very solid base, but the spammers are too much (especially with no ignore list), navigating the main cities is difficult since they are always full of toons that are afk'd trying to sell the crap that they found. The game could kick so much ass, but Akklaim has a lot to do still. (The fact that you can't set your keys to whatever you want pissed me off)
too grind.... hope the quest rewards with some exp points.. not just rewards some useless weapons/armors.. and hope to see more events in the future!
lol useless weapon/armor??? are u kidding me?? some quest will rewards you full slots weapon/armor, which is very usefull so that u dont have to buy the weapon/armor and make 'holes' in them because its too costly!
Some of the events they hold give decent stuff or acclaim coins and such which is kind of cool. I'm hoping in the future they'll get rid of the gold spammers because it doesn't contribute to the atomosphere of the game at all. Even though it's grind, there are a fair number of quests you can do at any given level. And there is always the commissioned quests for past lvl 30, and you can do those as many times as you want. But it's decent, I'll give it that.

Can you ignore the 24/7 gold farmers/botters? What does that tell you about how much the company cares about LEGITIMATE players? I'm a working adult, I don't want to waste my time on another shiny, yet shallow game. And this fits 2moons exactly.
It's not even modified as David Perry wanted it to be - right now 2moons is based DIRECTLY off an old client of Dekaron, a Korean mmorpg.
1. Gold farmers -- do I have to tell you how this affects a game's economy? In the long term, no honest player will be able to afford top tier equipment, without resorting to putting in insane hours. Oh yeah, and there's a buy-back cap of $15k from NPCs. So imagine how MUCH grinding you'd need to do to earn $1 mil.
2. Botters -- same as point 1. Honest players are screwed because they'd never be able to put in as much time as these scum-sucking cheaters.
3. Open PK -- now, I appreciate a good PvP arena duel as much as anyone. On the other hand, open PK is just an invitation for abuse, proven again and again in countless other games. 2moons is NO EXCEPTION. Expect some lamer to stab you in the ass whenever you play out of the safe zones (and the safe zones are tiny areas around the beginning maps). PvP duels with ranks and awards = battles of honour. Open PK = cowardly scum who can only win when they attack people from behind in surprise.
4. Botters + Open PK = that's right, if you're an honest, legitimate player, you'll soon discover that you're unable to traverse many areas safely, because of the multitude of bots that are programmed to auto-PK anyone who comes near them. I've only got a few gaming hours a day, I don't need to waste them spamming in town for someone to take down the bots. And don't say "you can simply log into a different server cluster", that's a stupid non-solution which ignores the problem AS WELL AS ignoring the fact that bots are on EVERY CLUSTER so you can't actually avoid them even if you wanted to.

I have to agree, the game engine is pretty nice, most 3D MMOs which go for the realistic look tend to have movement/location lag, but this responds instantly (like Flyff, for example). Good latency handling. The item system also feels pretty good, although I have to admit that, once again, top tier equipment is set items so eventually everybody will be wearing the same crap (another design FAIL).
On the other hand... this game suffers from all the plagues of other overrun MMOs left discarded in the has-been pile: infested by botters, farmers, and cheaters; hardly any sign of GM policing; stupid stat balance means ALL classes' most viable build is: points into weapon requirements, rest into health (for more hp), i.e. tank builds; still using the tired old private shop system (central auction houses are much superior)
Sure, 2moons feels good at first, but once you run into the hordes of afk botters and rampant pk losers, it'll quickly feel like just one of those stupid old mmorpgs you left. Time to move to the next game.

I don't hate Korean MMOs, it's just that there's too many which are similar mindless grindfests. It's like a class of Korean developers all recently graduated, and formed their own companies, and are churning out similar games.
1. None of them have meaningful stories. Go ahead and see. You can ignore NPCs almost totally, just buy stuff, go out and find a party, grind. That's it. That will get you through 99% of all those games. No thinking involved at all.
I'm tired of stupid mindless grindfests like this.
2. Stat balance is whacked. Almost every game I've seen, the only practical way to go is bare minimum stats for item/skill requirements, then rest all into hp/health or whatever you call it. You know balance is screwed when the only viable long term build is a tank build.
This is fucked up for people who want to experiment with different builds. Sure you can, but you get punished by dying excessively a lot more. So unless you turn into a potion-whore AND have a healer following you every second, anything less than a tank build doesn't work.
3. Decently coded game engines, but everything else feels tacked on last minute. Where are the involved quests which aren't fetchquests? Where are the non-combat skills, i.e. stuff you can do which DOESN'T involve yet more grinding?
I routinely read about GOOD player suggestions on various game forums. I KNOW that players are smart, and want more from games than just mindless grinding. So why the hell are the developers keep giving us these stupid grindfests? They compete with each other to give us shinier and better looking games, yet all of them fail in everything else. Fail miserably.
4. Open PK. I'm not against PvP, in fact PvP is great when you can rank yourself against other players. But all these "games" feature mindless slaughterfests where there's no reward nor punishment. Log into any of them and see. There's always complaints of bored high levels going around killing low levels. That immediately tells you that at high levels there's nothing to do, so they get bored and go around PK'ing.
I want PvP as well, but what the fuck is the use of Open PK? I can't tell whether the guy who jumped me is actually any good, or just some random moron who got lucky, or just some prick out for kicks. In a ranked arena setting, you can actually SEE how good everyone is. No bullshit ambushing.
Hell, there are TONS of ways to make PvP interesting. Like special contest duels, for example no using certain skills, or pets. Ladder rankings. Prizes and named items for winners. That kind of stuff. Shit, it isn't hard to do, compared to programming the actual game engine.
The only reason it's not in there, is that the devs don't give a fuck. They just want to push a game out, and milk us for cash.

Personally, i didnt like a bit about 2Moons, no history, no objective, weak graphics and theres really no motivation playing it ...
But people are different so....dont know..
