  Yes there has been a major update.  I think the game has improved with a couple of new units, in field resupply and TOE meaning spawn lists are tied to the brigade and not the town.  I think there's a welcome back soldier promo going so you might be able to get a free 2 weeks to try it out.

  As said, 1.27 came out, Tables of Equipment and Organisations has been the biggest change, which basically means that supply is tied to brigades instead of as before towns and this has drastically changed the game to the better.

  You can now recive ammunition from trucks.

  Also 1.28 should probbably be out before christmas, and it will contain the long awaited performance updates that should have been in 1.27, as well as a new air ews system that will track aircraft even when flying outside of the map (which some did to avoid the town ews when bombing).
