Any good NON-Asian f2p games?
Hi all,
I've tried dozens of Asian f2p games while waiting for WAR, and sorry, but they all suck. They ALL have men that look like women in that bland, old, childish anime look, they all are massive grinds, and all their stories are trite messes about the end of the world or gaia or whatnot.
The only decent f2p game out there that I'm aware of is Anarchy Online. It's not a grind, the men and women are more "realistic" than the childish avatars of the Asian games, and it has a boatload of content. The problem is it's starting to feel a bit old and in desperate need of an overhaul.
Surely there must be some NON-Asian f2ps out there I should give a try.

anarchy online. not a VERY good game though....
AO is definately a very good game. The problem is it's extremely dated. The character models look worse than EQ's pre-luclin models lol. That game had features for years, that other mmos later adopted. It still has features that no other mmo has ever copied. It's always been a groundbreaking game in it's design.
As I said though, it is pretty old now. Don't go in expecting perfect polish, smooth UI's, etc.
While they're not technically free to play, many games today have micro-payment business plans: you pay small fees for special potions, cosmetics, etc. I'd recommend checking out some of these games, such as NCSoft's Dungeon Runners. Enjoy!

Hellgate: London is a free to play game. Developed by flagship studios. Looks very promising.
