Been playing CoX. I Just caned my EQ2 account its an awesome game but i just cant take anymore "Witches and Shit" i mean fantasy MMOs (for the time being anyway).

i've been trying out every f2p mmo and the ones i've left installed and have been trying out are 2moons, archlord, corum, deicide, dungeon runners, hero online, last chaos, lunia, metin, rappelz, rf online, scions of fate, shadowbane, silkroad and sword of the new world
i've always been addicted to freestyle street basketball so a lot of that and i can't wait for the perfect world english server to come back up so i can give that a shot
if anybody has any thoughts as to the games i'm trying to narrow down i'd appreciate it

CoH (not CoX because I was very disappointed in CoV and refuse to acknowledge it).
I am also revisiting EQ for the first time in many years, and I have to say I'm impressed. Too bad the community is so focused on the endgame, because the lower levels are actually fun to play now.
Makes me wonder ... will it take 5 or more years of evolution for every MMO to get good? Actually, EQ is the only one I've seen this degree of change in. Maybe UO, which is even older. But anyway it does not bode well for the industry if a game has to outsurvive the players' interest before it wakes up and comes into its own.
Much as I love CoH, it is far from perfect, and there has been a lot of fumbling in the dark on the design front. I have doubts as to whether it's even possible for them to fix the biggest issues (the heavy emphasis on randomly generated content and the bland presentation of most of the day-to-day missions).

non at the moment actualy. Hopeing to get an change to get an buddy key of Vangaurd so I can do an test run, but theres really not game out there I see myself spending money on at this moment.
Playing loads of TF2 though

Used to play RK1 but I can't even remember the usernames/passes to that account anymore, so now i'm on RK2. My play times are pretty spontaneous but if you see me on feel free to send me a tell. I've been on these new toons lately, "Vikingblood" "Chokiev" "SlayerJerry"

The only decent game in that list is EvE. And a lot of people longing for a sci-fi MMO don't like the playstyle EvE offers, which is one of the reasons a lot of people still play AO.
I've been playing Eve ever since I quit WoW a few months ago. I'll play at least until WAR comes out, not sure if I'll switch or not. Sandbox is great. Mechanics that encourage and cater to griefers is annoying though, although I'll admit it makes the game more interesting.
