EA/Will Wright announce Spore on Wii

Nintendo scored big points today, with Will Wright announcing EA is putting Spore on the Wii. Now all they need to do is actually MAKE THE DAMN GAME, as of right now its still vaporware to me.

Havent read the article yet but my intitial thoughts were that SSSOOO nany people here are going to be jelouse if its a Wii only title.

Well, my Wii just got more appealing. And here I was, kicking myself for buying it.
I just started a savings fund for the Wii yesterday cause I thought it was Wii Only, but if its for PC...
meh. I'd be willing to bet it's going to be pale in comparison to the PC version. Past games of these types like simcity and the sims always lose a lot in the translation from PC to console. Also putting a game with an online component as an important part sounds questionable on a Nintendo system. I guess Nintendo is just happy that they might actually get a developer that isn't them to make a Wii game that isn't shit.

The Wii supports online, I dont see this being a issue.

Yeah, I'm glad to see ANYTHING new come from Spore, but I really just want a release date for the PC version. I don't really care about console/handheld anything for Spore. I just want to get my hands on the PC game I've been waiting on for several years now. It's beginning to look like the new Duke Nukem Forever...

sweet, I won't need to upgrade my PC (yes, my PC is horrible enough to require an upgrade to play Spore)
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
I don't really care what consoles it will be released to as I don't have any, but the thing is that it never seems to be released. The game looks amazing and everything but it seems like they will never release the damn game.
