need help with trial for a friend

ok, i gave a friend the coh/cov trial thing....he can login fine, create a character but it doesnt let him make a villain, just a hero, i dunno how to fix it anyone else have any ideas?
breaking news, a brawl broke out between the hogger and arthas the lich king downtown gadgetzan. there where no survivers

then it was just a city of heros key had one myself also used a dual one so their is a differance
no i used the refer a friend which is both, it even says city of heros/city of villains account it has everything but when he goes in to make a character it skips the hero or villain thing and goes to hero
