meh, low budget indy mmorpg..no thanks, I don't see it working.
I give you credit. I would love to be able to make an mmo. While the graphics are dated, I give you kudos for doing something you like!
Looking forward to giving it a try.
Not every game has to have a huge budget to be good. People under-estimate indie games too much. If you look at games generally its the ones with the creativness, the ideas, the overall fun-factor which are sucessfull. The more people like yourself throw away options like that and hope for another million games like "WoW" the less you will see in games. Every company / group starts out small, you dont just become big overnight. And persoanlly your "Big companies" are usually monotonous and keep releasing the same crap over and over again. Its the small people which have the fresh, the good ideas. think about that...

Hehe, yes the graphics issue. Well currently we are in the alpha phase. After it is released to the public and we see what the they think we are considering porting over to a new sharp looking engine.
Supports-
HDR, motion-blur, advanced shadowing, water reflection, bump-mapping.
So graphics arnt our current priority now. As i said before we are focusing on a fun game with a nice realistic feel to it. I thank you for your support. Chances are the final product will have great graphics

that will be cool once everything is up and running. As far as graphics I could care less, as long as its fun and does not have a million kill x get y or go z quests lol
Lol you sound like you know what we are all thinking XD
yeah we are focusing on a very depthy storyline. The higher level you get the better the quests get, there wil be a wide range of quest types. Thanks again for the continued support.

While I give you a lot of credit for working on a MMO on your own, a quick look at the website left me somewhat frustrated. One of the msot important things you can do with a MMORPG these days is tell people what is different about the game. I dug into your design document (which is quite sparse for a MMO, given the complexity of the systems involved, but a good starting point) and still did not feel like I walked away with anything new or informative.
The real question I have is this: what do you hope to do by bringing the general populace in so early in development? The public is quite harsh in their judgement towards far more polished and professional games during beta, and yet you seem to be looking for people to jump into a very early alpha build.
All that being said, I wish you and your team the very best of luck!
I agree with you alot with what you said. The game is not near completion so you can expect a complete change in the end. Your question about bringing the public in is very true, we only want few more experienced alpha testers to give us some ideas and pointers (change the graphics engine, gameplay features, etc...)
Thanks, for the comments and support.
