    Favourite:

    1,- Anarchy Online- the best there is imageimageimage

    2.- Final Fantasy XI- greeeat fantasy game

    3.- Dark Age of Camelot- like the faction VS faction

    4.- City of Heroes- well, the first Super Hero MMORPG/Action game

    MMORPGs i hate:

    1.- EverQuest- Very booring, full of people without real life.

    2.- Star Wars Galaxies- Its a shame for the SW license

    3.- EverQuest 2- They are evil, they want to destroy every MMORPG in market, thats why i hate it, all my favourite games wont exist cuz of this mmorpg destroyer, want to see your mmorpg dying? Hell no!Do NOT support this game!

    4.- Horizons- Wheres the people?

    scratch DAoC off the list. That game sucks big ones. Mythic ruined the game.

    FFXI for sure, but i hope they can use a new graphic engine, something like lineage II using.

    well, I've been around the block of MMO's a bit, and my favorite I've ever played is AO. Many don't spend the time to get through the learning curve (which for most is more than the 7 day trial) so they just leave. My friend was said it bit a big one, but his character was an agent(rifle based), and he ran around trying to be a martial artist or something... It has the best support I've ever come across in a game (that's not saying much though, NCsoft and sony suck). and the game is involving. a big part of the game is finding a group of people to hang out with, and share your battles. That's why AO is my favorite MMO i've ever played.

       So that's, in my oppinion, the best MMO out there. other MMO's i've played..

    -dark age of camelot

    -city of heroes

    -star wars galaxies

    -eve online

    -There (beta)

    -Neocron (beta)

    -Earth and Beyond

    -Planetside

    -Sims Online (if that counts)

    well, that's my 2 cents spent

    Well, no MMORPG has yet "done it all".

    For PVP: Shadowbane pwns.

    For graphics: Lineage II is super sexy... sometimes photorealistic.  And um, I wish i looked that good in a thong ;).

    For tech support: um, ... has there ever been good tech support.

    For stability: ... are any of these games stable?

    For Content: ... bleh, there is never enough content.  I always want more.

    For Community: Shadowbane has the most community/guild oriented system i have ever even imagined.

    For Cool Gear: um, i never really pay that much attention.

    For Special effects: um, i turn that off before i even make my first toon.

    For Lack of Lag: Go play a 2D game if you can't live with lag :P

    I never played UO when it was young so how's it suck now as opposed to when it first came out?

    ATM,

    1. DAOC is still the best one, even though they killed Lvl 1 to 20/30. RvR and Darkness Falls make the game fun IMO. Plus Mythic is the least evil of the Companies.

    5. AO is OK too

    10. EQ was very good once, long time ago now its another game altogether. Its not dying, its dead.

    15. The others, I don't even consider (Shadowbane, Horizons, SWG, AC2, Lineage 2, etc)

    I have only played 5 MMORPG's (UO, AC, EQ, FFXI and CoH) and by far the best is CoH.  I still play EQ a little but probably not for long. 


    CoH - Tortimer lvl 21 Blaster fire/dev Triumph
    EQOA:F - Tortimer lvl 42 Human Ranger Hodstock

    You sir, should be shot...

    LAG != CHOPPY GRAPHICS!!!!! now repeat after me, lag isnt the same as choppy. And write it 20000 times on the blackboard!

    Oh and if u meant that 2d characters contain less information than a 3d character in terms of size of packages sent from the server, then my response is that 2d games can be just as intensive with positioning/actions/armorinfo/emotes as a 3d game.

    *edit* ok perhaps not shot since im against capital punishment, but atleast some time in jail with the appropriate brainwashing psychoanalysis treatment image

    *edit2* I see you play L2, did u ever see the lag in L1? ^^. ok im done now take me away
