After releasing a very successful and decent F2P game in silkroad online,they have embarrassed themselves with there next release.There new release is a game called darkeden.It seemed like it might be cool and a different idea than what we're used to but man alive was i wrong.
This game is sooooo bad it's not even funny.I'd give it a 1/10 and i'd be generous,not even sure where i'd get the 1 from.This game seems like something a teenager programmed on an old radio shack tsr80.It even uses the ancient old click only movement as seen in an old game like MU online.There is no mouse look,really there is nothing.
If i didn't know better i'd swear this is an april fools joke.The graphics are pixeled monsters that any atari system could run maxxed out.I surely hope nobody else waste's there time d/l this,and messing around in there shotty registration process to see this junk.
To date this is the worse release i have ever seen from any company,i just can't believe joymax went in this direction after silkroad,was a decent effort.

ever seen the state of the game with silkroad right now?
at least 50% of each server population consists of bots, wether goldbots, spambots or leveling bots run by users. not too mention the recent website hack exploit where a lot of people lost their ingame items and even their entire accounts...

Isn't Dark Eden that the vampire mmorpg from Thailand? If so, ewwww!
I read about that game over a year ago when looking for a game my wife could play (she is Thai) and it was given a terrible review saying it was rampant with bots as well.

I don't know who used to own darkeden when I played or why is joymax taking over it but, darkeden was a really good game when I used to play it was like my third rpg on the computer after diablo & tibia. If I remember the game used to play just like diablo and it was just as addicting as diablo. I used to have an enchanter(kinda like a mage) and a vampire max ranked.
What killed this game was all the boter and speed hacker and all the vampires that cheated their ranks. It was too easy to hack too Gameguard doesn't do crap.
This game isn't so bad if you have an older system that is closer to the system requirements for this game. Pathing is a bit buggy and graphics do appear dated but I also notice that here isn't noticeable lag and PvP isn't as punishing to new players as it is with many other free MMORPG games (you can usually run away). If you are bored an looking for a new game then this might be worth a quick try since it's free.
Ah! I remember back a long time ago when I had time to go through every game on the list and check it out (the good years), I stumbled across this vampire game. I had forgotten the name of it and never had time to look for it but it was pretty fun for the times. It seemed to be very lonely though and you leveled up incredibly fast at least when I first played. I probably wouldn't play it again if its still the same but it was fun at the time.
