im gonna seize this opportunity to try out Vangurad once more.I bought it the day it came out and quit the day after because of all the crap you know...

As much as I hate SOE for what they did to Sigil, as well as ruining SWG for me, I have to admit I like how they keep giving out free play time. I recieved about a month of free EQ2 playtime+free expansions back in September when they botched VG, and now some free VG time? Saving me some money while waiting for AoC
Is this only for previous subscribers? I played the beta, or rather tried to, it was like a slide show on my computer. But it sounds like a lot of improvements have gone into the game. However, I don't see any 30 day trial and my account doesn't give me that option.
Is this for real?

SONY (not vanguard) team had some glitches turning this back on, so it is supposed to take place today and go until Jan 17th 2008.
30 day non recurring says on my station account. That mans from 20th december to 20th january, for the guy that thought its BS.
And its only for previous subscribers that got their account cancelled beacuse the game went like a slideshow back than...i hope it wont again...

I hate to say it but the nine hours might be right , i got the disks and the patchs alone are taking close to three hours. Damn man three freakin hours for patches, they sure as hell been adding SOMETHING lol with that big a patch. I really hope they got everything fixed it looked like exactly what i was looking for in a game thats why i was so let down with all the bugs. Well heres to pissing in fates eye and givin it another try. See ya all in game hopefully.

hopefully they've given up on the silly trial island thing and are gonna go with something more attractive like a 2 week trial of the actual game
LOl this is funny am I the only one that got screwed, and ended up with 30 days free of planetside? I sent a support ticket so who knows when it will be fixed. I just thought it would be funny to share.

I'm not even looking at this game until they have at least a 3-7 day trial. Then, I may, give it a try again. But until they start giving a little instead of taking, I'm not even looking at it. i was so discouraged when I tried this game in the beginning...i still have a bad taste in my mouth. So.....if the devs or SOE is watching this...either TRIAL it, or you can forget about it.
Yeah, that would be the entire month. Luckily, the estimate has been exponentially decaying. It's gone from 900-400-90-40-17 hours, all in the last several hours.
I didn't get a free month, that makes me sad. Any other subscribers not get the free time?
Nice after putting in a ticket(which they havent responded to) I am now up to 60 days of planetside time. They must really want to me to play planetside instead of vanguard.

Well, considering you got ripped on the month you paid for when you bought the game I wouldn't call it a "free" month.
But i respect a game that knows it has failed in the past and is looking to make up for it.
Ya thats what I feel like doing. I have a running bet with a friend that Ill be up to 6 months free time by the end of next week.

Excited, why? As a former elite player of Vanguard I am so anxious to see what has happened. All the talk about changes and improvements are making me wonder so much! I loved Vanguard for the most part but had to quit since the community was fading and content wasn't available. I hope this third shot (and free, I might add) proves something to me and everyone else. We shall see.
Does anyone have a download link they could provide for me, perhaps through a buddy key or something?
It would be greatly appreciated.
