Im getting a www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx

BUT id like to hear what you guys saiy about buying a card simular to that price. not alot higher. that is better maybe???

    The 3850 rapes the 8600GT, its a no contest, no brainer. Very good price too considering its from a brick and mortar store, in the walk-ins they have 6200LE's for $100.

    how much better is the 3850 than a mobility radeon 9600? It comes with the Averatec 6100 series laptop. In my opion this comp. suks, but what do you have to say bout it

    Intel pentium 4 procssor

    Windows XP home

    512 mb RAM

    60GB Hard Drive

     

    Any cheap improvmens I could make?

    The 3850 is miles ahead of the mobility radeon 9600, but it is a graphics for desktops not laptops.

    Drop 2 gigs of ddr pc3200 in it, get a bigger hard drive.

    But seriously...just buy something better.
