From Dictionary.com, the word Refuge means: 1.shelter or protection from danger, trouble, etc.: to take refuge from a storm. 2.a place of shelter, protection, or safety. 3.anything to which one has recourse for aid, relief, or escape. I chose that name due to the controversey that is caused around people posting opinions about the changes. I thought that it was an appropriate for a forum dedicated to this particular subject.

This one has to be a joke or someone that has not been around the game for the last year... one or the other.
If your asking for a list of why the NGE is a failure and why the game is now in the dump then you need to open your eyes and look around.
Go to the SOE boards and just read them....
If you think this is a polished game that has treated its loyal playerbase well then you need to send a email to Mr. Smedley himself and ask him what happend, because your either the worst fanboi without any information or just some kid trying to piss people off.

I found my refuge another place, though, so never really went looking for one here.
Personally, I think it's a good idea for people who're tired of SOE's antics and angry about the NGE to have a place of their own.

So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys...I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers, a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things, but I tell you, Jerry, at that moment ... I was a marine biologist.
Thats a sad end to a great era of SWG. But now is 2008, something equal must come soon.....and then will all old SWG sleepers wake up and prosper again.
I have not had one solid MMO to play since the NGE. Im pathetic. Instead i made some Star Wars lightsaber movies.....
Wow... I came back to the game after roughly 3 years, and I am trying out my little 15-day trial. Was excited to get back into it, after surfing around some other MMO's I realized how nice SWG is.... was...
At first I thought you guys were just really b***chy (no offense) and nitpicking little changes, but now I see how horribly wrong it has gone. Its like I woke up in a twilight zone, everything is the same, but.... different.
I'm more bummed out than I am pissed off at it, and trust me I was getting pretty pissed off for the first hour trying to figure out exactly what the hell was going on. I say that like I ever figured out what was going on, but oh well... Maybe it can still be a good game to fresh eyes, but I wont be able to go on playing it.
