Unless you have a special main board, looks like you'll only be able to use AGP cards.  I'd double check your mainboards specs before you buy.. unless you are upgrading your mainboard too.

yeah, and how big is your power supply, because your going to want to make sure you have enough power for the card too.

AGP graphics cards are way overpriced for the performance they give and your system is due for an upgrade. But if you really insist on getting a better card, this is probably the best card left you can get for AGP.

This card is out of stock and there's no set date when it will be back.

i would buy a 8800GT card its have the best preformance compared to the cost and i think its around the same  price as 1950XT but you will need a 500w powersupply to run both cards i would recommend you reading a guide on tomshardware http://www.tomshardware.com/2008/02/04/best_cards_february_2008/

the 8800GT costs around 250 bucks and it preforms almost as good as a 300+ bucks card

the 8800GT card is around 4-10 times faster then your current card the 1950 XT card performs as a 7800GT card its a waste of monney tbh.

A - He has an AGP slot not a PCI-E x16 or 2.0 slot. They don't make 8800GTs for AGP slots.

B - An 8800GT would be seriously bottlenecked by his system, so it wouldn't be worth it even if he could.
