MMORPG.com has an ad to play in open beta for this game.  Has anyone played it?  Is it any good?  The tutorial on their website is pretty impressive.

    Ya, the game is fairly fun and it is free till lvl 40.  After lvl 40, the game starts to get real fun.

    The players are very helpful. Finding a group is not even a consideration it happens so often.
    I think you might want to take a try with this one. It is a good free trial.

    Last time I played Priston Tale Their was really no quest in it, so is their any in it now? I don't like playing games that don't have any points to them.

    I tried this game after HOURS of downloading ::::07:: In trying to be patient I struggled to get it set up.

    Lo and behold I was disappointed::::03:: enraged::::26:: and befuddled::::37:: when i logged in and saw the camera angle. It's 3rd person completly. I HATE 3rd person. But I'm open minded and was willing to give it a shot....After a few hours of playing, exploring and exping.... I felt ::::30:: and wanted to hang myself. half the time my charachter was hidden by trees or a bad camera angle. there seemed to be no...quests, no style nothing unique to this game.

    If you wish to try it go ahead....but it's more of a headache than anything.

    does priston tale have good player interaction i have played games like AC AC:2 andothers and found that the player interaction just isn't therefrom my origanal MMORPG.....TIBIA with it's chessy graphics and all is the best imageimage does priston tale have good player interaction?????

    to Jlover:  There is now one quest at lvl 20 and they will be adding another one on August 11.  The quests are for ranking up to a different class e.g., Fighter-Warrior, Magician-Wizard and so on.  Each rankup "exam" gets you four new skills.

     

    Draconia:  Are you asking if it is easy to make friends or if it is easy to find people to talk to.  I can assure you that both are possible if you are on the right server.

    It's pretty fun, and tides you over.  Since it is free up to level 40, it never hurts to try it out.  I played a cleric and had a blast with her, so give it a try if you can.  Everyone will have a different opinion, but really worth playing.  image

    I'd hardly say this game was worth playing.  I played this last year and I'm sure they could do nothing to improve the gaming experience from what they've already done.  You're better off triyng something new/recent.

    What I disliked of this game:
    -The classes look like apes, large hands, large feet
    -Lack of individuality, chance are you'll quickly find somebody that looks like you in a few seconds
    -Lack of exploration, last time I checked, most of the towns are linear meaning you go through a path of maps and end up in the next town, keep going further and further meeting new towns
    -Lack of "gaming experience", the game seems pretty empty when you play it (hard to explain what I mean by this)

    Thanks for the advice everyone.  I might give it a try someday if I just need something to pass the time :)

    First time I saw the title I was tired and thought it said "Prison Tale"...

    Now I can't look at the game without thinking of roleplaying a prisoner with a life sentence, just trying to survive the next 30 years of daily 1 hr basketball, weight lifting, gangs and cigarette smuggling...
