Just have to say it, but whenever I see Bush trying to dance or have a sense of humor he looks like a fucking idiot.  Nothing to do with his politics, but he just does to me...

Also where did you pull that "20% go with the crown" number?  Why 20%?  If you have multiple sources then maybe its ok, but without a source, saying his approval rating is probably 50% is just bogus by adding that 20%....

  • bluberryhazebluberryhaze Member Posts: 1,702

its completely unfounded that 20% number.

I must win the contest then because I not only hated him before it was popular, but I attended his 2001 cold & rainy inauguration drive-by "parade" with more than several thousand other angry individuals.

This is the only photograph I was able to get of Bush... well it's his limo anyway... note the poor secret service agents struggling to keep up, and the honor guard is saluting as he approaches.

Hope you got your things together. Hope you are quite prepared to die. Looks like we're in for nasty weather. ... There's a bad moon on the rise.

Woah cool!  Small world, lol.  It was soooo miserable that day I remember!  It was raining but it was so close to freezing that before I got something on my head, my wet hair froze a lil- lol!  And Bush made us all wait for hours and hours because he didn't want to come out.  When he finally did he zipped by with the windows up greeted with all those middle fingers and boos.

It's official, me n' windstrike rock.

I really don't think that you want to be put into the same category as Windstrike...unless you happen to be a conspiracy theorist who believes that 9/11 was the US Government.

US Government?  Um no.  More like a network of intelligence agencies working in tandem to set the stage for some moves they wanted to make.  CIA, Mossad, MI5.  These agencies infiltrated aspects of the US government to accomplish this, yes.  And it's really not so far out.  Just a good plan that happened to work well for them.  Thats not the same as saying "The US government did it".

Is this announcement meant to surprise people, because it doesnt. I think most can figure out your  political stance by your dumb ass threads. I personally don't like your attitude towards other ethnic groups but hey its your right to have your own opinion about something..just don't force it on other people by making pointless thread designed to cover up your racist views.

    republicans = racist

    yea, i know.

While not all republicans are racist, I have yet to meet a racist that isn't republican.

    Funny story:

When my wife and I first moved in together, she felt a little uncomfortable in the neighborhood that we were living and wanted to buy a gun. So I took her to a local gun and pawn shop in a nearby town to see what was available. Keep in mind that I knew this store, was on friendly relations with the store owner and wot not. This guy was a card carrying NRA member and professed to have the same views on gun control that I have. Then I unthinkingly remarked that we were buying the gun for my wife....

I almost wish I had a camera that day to get a picture of how pale his face went and the deep down horrified expression that came over him. All of the sudden he was telling us that we needed to this that and the other before he would do any business with us.

What's funny about this is that my wife is about as non-threatening as a human being can appear. I mean, I know better but I'm her husband so that's expected Seriously, at five foot three inches tall she isn't going to be staring down anyone.

The only reason that we didn't walk out of the store with a new Glock that day is because my wife was African-American and the idea of an armed black person scared the shit out of the store owner.

We did eventually get a nice 9mm sidearm, legally BTW, but from a different dealer. It's funny how neo-conservatives defend certain rights while secretly excluding one or more groups that they deem to be "unAmerican."

Will you guys ever stop?  If one theory gets shot down you say, "yeah, but what about..."  It's pathetic.  Once your "ironclad" proof gets shot down, you come up with circumstantial evidence, once that is shot down, you come up with unverifiable (by anyone) theories on secret societies, meetings, etc.  Please take it somewhere else where someone gives two turds about your paranoia.

You kidding? All Liberal Democrats do is talk about race and try to separate people into groups. Meanwhile, the average Republican DOESN'T CARE what race anyone is as long as they're not a government freeloader or is in the country illegally.

Separating people into groups due to their race is inherently racist. This is not something Republicans tend to do. It's what groups like the NAACP do.

What you pretend is "equality" is actually favoritism and segregation. Liberals love to divide people into groups. The easier to make class warfare that way. I'll say it again, the average Republican DOESN'T CARE what race you are. THAT is true equality. Now look at all the people who DO separate people into groups based on race. They are hucksters trying to use people against each other. TRUE equality is colorblind -- something the typical liberal or member of the NAACP simply doesn't understand.

Sorry bud.. recent polls show he now has only a 19% approval rating.. the worst ever... ever

    See below

    Quote:

George Bush's Approval Rating Plummets to Just 19%

Clearly voicing their discontent for George W. Bush, Americans are now reaching historic levels of undisputed antipathy for America’s 43rd President. A new poll has Bush breaking a new nadir in presidential approval ratings, beating out Harry Truman’s 22% for the lowest support among Americans in the nation’s history.

The latest American Research Group polling of how George W. Bush is conducting himself as President, in the eyes of the America people, is an historic, if not an abysmal low, at just 19% overall. An astounding 77% of those surveyed disapprove of Bush’s job performance. A full 79% of those sampled from February 16-19, were critical of how the President was handling the retreating economy.

Until Bush dipped below the 20% mark in this latest poll by the American Research Group, it was Harry S. Truman, in a Gallup Poll taken in February 1952, who previously held the worst presidential approval rating at just 22%.

Further demonstrating the dour mood of the country, 78% of Americans, more than three-fourths of the nation, believe the economy was getting worse and 47% are confident the country is in a full-blown recession.

The near unanimity among registered voters was that Bush was not getting the job done as president. Merely 18% found him to be successful in his duties and 78% gave him a failing mark. In addition, an astonishing and historically all-time low number of registered voters, just 15%, found Bush favorable in his ability to deal with the economic woes the country is currently facing.

Even amid registered Republican voters, Bush still failed to break through to a majority of supporters with only 45% of Republicans in favor of Bush’s job performance.

Independent voters matched the sour mood of the country as a whole with only 17% finding Bush to be satisfactory in his job achievements and 75% expressed displeasure for America’s 43rd President.

Democrats, who have been sharply acrid toward Bush for some time, showed their disdain for his perceived and mounting failures, voiced their undisputed discontent for Bush with 99% finding him unsatisfactory in his job.
