    Hi,

If you want to play an MMORPG at work I suggest you play runescape a very addictif game once you're addicted. You got many skills and the game has a huge community. The great thing about the game is that you can play it in your browser, all you need is Java on your computer but that's pretty standard. Alot of people whine alot about this game, and I most of the time I have to say they are right. It's a freaking grindfest to get you skills leveled up, but somehow the creators(=Jagex) of this game managed to make it really fun. Runescape is a free2play game with the possibilty to become a member, pay2play. When your a member you can use new skills that are only available for members, enter fun minigames wich you can earn experience with, discover new area's,...

There is a chance you will not like this game due the crappy graphics and the even crappier motions but still I really think this is a great game for you to play when your at work!

Before I answer your question, do you work for yourself or do you work for a company?

Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware

"Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product."

browserbased game in which you build your own empire

This one reminds me a bit of settlers, and it's something that can easily be played while at work as well.

Oh, in that case. There are many free browser based games like that.

Travian is probably one of the most played. In this game you control your own village. Gather materials, discover new techniques, attack other players and capture their town. The visual style of this game is really cool, you can see your own village and see what people

If you don't like that kind of games you could give Barafranca a try. It's a game where you have to play a gangster and make your way to the top. I know many people play this game. The game is translated in many languages.
