being a gay is not a crime...its their choice to be a gay..
Its there choice? Constitutional or not? I say "not" just off the preamble itself. The same as its my choice to do drugs, alcohol,.... Just because someone makes a "CHOICE" to do it does not make it "OK". If someone chooses to be gay then they have to deal with the consequence they create. Yes, they create.!Not someone else. Get that straight. Do not need a blame game.. Nor do I need apologists telling me I should be more tolerant.
What someone does in the bedroom should not be brought out into the public. Especially Irans public! You reap what you sew.
The way I see it I could care less if a person is gay or not. If they are gay thats fine. They know I am not gay and I know they are gay. Its when they feel the need to broadcast it on a planetary scope constantly over and over and over again. I will never understand why people need to broadcast their bidness to everyone. You think it would be more personal and people would want to keep their bidness to themselves. From a distance it just shows that people crave attention. There are tons of people who are gay or straight, or sometimes gay/sometimes straight depending on their mood and alcohol blood level. What makes one person out of a million so special. There are many proper and respectable ways to get attention but some people feel the need to push it. I guess maybe its to get a reaction?
Its like someone who likes blueberry pie. Its cool if you tell me you like blueberry pie. I might even buy you a fresh one for your birthday. But when you constantly in every conversation and gesture remind me you like blueberry pie, and get pissed when I tell you I might not like blueberry pie you get offended.
Upallnight, if you feel so strongly about this guys safety why not start up a donation to help the guy move somewhere safe or why don't you get in contact with him and let him move in with you until he gets himself established? Have you got the response you were looking for when you created this topic?
Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

i know what you mean..and i also understand the what friska is trying to say...on my side whether he is a gay or not they should be fair..like what you said earlier "The same as its my choice to do drugs, alcohol,.... Just because someone makes a "CHOICE" to do it does not make it "OK". so it means they should be responsible on their act...
Wow, a lot of ignorance is in the air, you shouldn't make comments of something you don't know much about. Being gay is Islam is strictly prohibited, has been and most probably always will be. The punishment death. Whether you think this is right or wrong is the matter of your opinion. 'Marriage' is recommended in Islam, the idea of it is the couple can have kids which will be born as Muslim (whether they want to stay Muslim when they reach adulthood is their choice) and the couple can stay closer to Islam. Being gay and knowing if you get caught you will become hanged is incredibly stupid if you ask me. Sexuality is not part of the 3 necessities of life, being gay is a choice imo, the percentage of gay has been increasing over the last decade clearly due to the impact of the media, imo 'being born gay' is a load of rubbish. We make decision how we want to be in life. I have nothing against homosexual people of this world but no way in hell I think you can be 'born gay.'
The fact that you complain about ignorance only to argue that homosexuality is a choice is absolutely laughable.
Homosexuality is all around us, animals practise homosexuality as well. Even fruitflies can be homosexual
You should listen to yourself. You don't know the first thing about being a homosexual yet you're willing to call bullshit on a person who is a homosexual when he explains that your assumptions are untrue. In fact, there are millions of gay people who are more then happy to explain to you that they never chose to be homosexual.
Yeah, chosing to be gay in a country where you'll be executed is pretty stupid. In fact, it makes no sense for any person to that. You should take a good look at your own arguement some more before you post more ignorant nonsense.
In a nutshell, homosexuality hasn't been proved to be completely reliant on inheritance, maybe the 'cocktail hormone theory' may be indeed correct but I do not believe the whole completely gay @ birth thing. The person with that difference will have thoughts and feelings whether s/he wants to become gay as obviously only a small % of the population is gay. This ultimately means during the thought process that person thought, o.k. I feel this way about men and I will have a relationship with another man even though I know if I get caught I will be killed, I mean wtf was he thinking? I mean this goes beyond how religious one is, it's plain stupidity.
That's because it isn't a choice, get a clue Man1ac. Ofcourse it would be plain stupid.

Lol i can just imagine such a situation where a group of Arab children are sitting somewhere deciding on whether to be straight or not and looking at the pros and cons. Pretty laughable really. Homosexuality is not something you chose.

Lol sadly enough Britian is slowly turning into a haven for Muslims themselves both good and bad. I believe its been stated in this thread before, but here http://www.thetrumpet.com/print.php?q=3244.0.91.0 is an article on how Britain is slowly being taken over by Muslim policies.
Why, you ask?
Political correctedness and racial appeasement is killing the Western powers, especially England. England is working very "hard" to try to appease such newcomers into their society; it states it clearly in the article that even though the immigrants have no sense of national pride, yet the liberal idiots in their society keep on preacing "tolerance" and whatnot. This tolerance is killing English culture society, but more importantly, their laws now as well. You think America is hard on themselves with their history of Slavery? The British are absolutely *ashamed* of their Imperialistic history and want to prove to the world that they are better than that, by apparently, any means necessary. Muslims are simply taking over England. Sadly enough if this chap gets sent back to England hes pretty much good as dead. The British are in bed with the Muslims, in more way than one.
Iran has regularly executed people it has convicted of homosexual acts
An Iranian homosexual man who has said he will be executed if he is deported from the Netherlands has had his claim for asylum overturned.
Mehdi Kazemi has said his life is in danger if he is returned to Iran, where he says his boyfriend named him as a partner before being executed.
Homosexual acts are illegal in the Islamic republic.
A Dutch spokesman said Mr Kazemi would now be sent to the UK, the first European country he entered.
A claim for asylum in the UK had already been turned down.
Application turned down
His case has become a campaign cause for gay rights activists across Europe.
Mr Kazemi, 19, said he had travelled to Britain in 2005 to study English, and learned that his lover in Iran had been executed for sodomy, his lawyer Borg Palm said.
After his asylum application was turned down, he fled to the Netherlands in 2006, having narrowly avoided being sent back to Iran.
Dutch immigration authorities are more lenient towards homosexual Iranians, who are afforded special status because of the regime's hard line against them.
'Life in danger'
The Dutch are refusing to consider the case. Under the EU's 2003 Dublin Regulation, the state the applicant first enters is responsible for processing their application.
Mr Kazemi says his life will be in danger not only because he has been named as a homosexual, but also because of the extensive media coverage of his case,.
Mr Kazemi's uncle - who is in the UK - said the family was considering an appeal to the European Court.
A statement from Britain's immigration service said: "We examine with great care each individual case before removal and we will not remove anyone who we believe is at risk on their return."
