Anyone else here with a suggestion?
lineage2 ..you will love it
Hellgate: London
They've ironed out most of the obvious flaws since the abyssmal launch and the game is quite OK to play atm.
However, the basic game premise is still the pointless, mindless grind like you wouldn't believe! Plus it's all randomized and there's almost no limit on how far you can go hoarding gear and sh***. If you're into hypnotic brain-killing repetetiveness then this is the game for you!
(on a side note, it is quite enjoyable when played occasionally just for a bit of diversion from the more "serious" titles)
without any doubts i would say Lineage2
Living life thats a good one.
I would suggest you Last Chaos.. didnt play it for long but the time I played was nice and im going to play it again since they have an event here on mmorpg that gives prize

FFXI isn't free, but it's pretty darned grindy.
First I would like to say that the title of this thread made me laugh. Second I would like to submit to you the most grindtastic game I've ever played...

Tons of levels (999 I believe). And someone figured out the time to attain max level, and it was somewhere on the order of 7 years.
ENJOY!!!!

I'm not sure what to suggest because many of the games you listed are very similar and you had quite opposite reactions to them. You hated WoW, yet enjoyed LOTR. You liked Cabel, yet didn't enjoy 2moons or Archlord.
My suggestion is to search "FREE MMORPG" on google and see what comes up.
Blessings,

The Biggest Grindfest I would have to say is Lineage 1. Trust me.

I'm thinking you have too much free time on your hands, maybe go outside once in a while.
But if not, Lineage 2 is a brute, as is Lineage 1.

Grinding doing what? A lot of people use grinding to describe anything they feel is boring and repetative, which doesn't fit with your use of the word since its what you want. I've seen it describe leveling, questing, pvp, raiding, etc...
If you want a free game you can spend a lot of time gaining levels, you could try Perfect World. Its leveling and questing is similar to WoW but much more challenging, and its open PvP system after lvl 30 is similar to Ultima Online. Its got a mature anime look, and is about 95% non-instanced.
It doesn't bring many new features to the mmorpg genre, but its a very challenging and polished implementation of the classic mmo features some of us have come to know and love.
Thanks for the answers.
Downloading Perfect World as we speak (the MY version, right?)
but i have one more question; does anyone know about a free version of ROSE online?
If you do, please tell me
