Archer STARTS as an archer. Later, he can either become a better archer or a hunter and then split once more. In the end, there will be 4 branches of the original archer. One is likely to focus on shooting, another may be proficient in laying traps and/or summoning animals, one will perhaps be able to cast some sort of offensive or defensive spells, too. So if you want to be an archer, just go for the "pure archer" branch, let the "senior hunters" summon animals. There is no LoS on SoL. Archer IS faster, as the movement speed is affected by agility. The difference between melee and a ranged attack is only in the "maximum range" and in the fact that they're governed by different attributes. Other than that they work the same, i.e. bows can be used in melee, too, so no need to switch weapons.Since this game has to be playable on smartphones and such, the rules and controls have to stay as simple as possible

a monk with a claymore looks silly, especially a dwarven female
fighting gloves are a good idea, maybe knuckles, claws or fist-razors at higher levels, hand-to-hand weapons like in Fallout or Diablo2
I didn't see any adventures in the game for archer. but I heard that monk is better.
The really dumb thing is that the damage for monks is too low. And I find it difficult to level up. I can add blood only when they go to the the Hybetus
I just became a hunter, and i acquired the skill "shooting." however, now everytime i shoot, my character automatically uses the skill! i shot a lot faster and made more damage than before. did anyone find a way around this
I'm still confused on how to get rid of it. I try clicking on the icon on the upper right. nothing. The box has the "shooting" magic icon in it. My bow use to be in that box.
I go into my skills menu, and I can't seem to turn off and on the "shooting" skill. I'm starting to think it's there permanently, until I acquire another Hunter skill. Any Hunters or any other professions have this experience?
As a warrior, you can't dual-wield, but it could be interesting to have an off-hand weapon class that adds to damage (similar to the off-hand thing the mages have that raises spell damage
