Despite all the 100+ million dollars a month Blizzard rakes in from WoW alone EVERY MONTH, I highly doubt they are putting WoW 2  togethor considering they are barely able to release a decent expansion without resizing, changing the color of skins and then re packaging it and selling it to us, boasting its some fantastic new add on.

I was really looking forward to BC only to be disappointed when I seen how much of the existing content from the previous world was slightly altered and re packaged and re sold.

Besides that Liche King is due out this year...

Don't confuse a players ability, with a class being Over Powered.

The next MMO from blizzard will be based on Starcraft.

No doubt in my mind a/b it.

If it is not, well then I will buy EVERYONE here at MMORPG.com a copy of what their MMO is.

I wish my games looked like that, but the next Blizzard MMO project is certainly not WoW 2. StarCraft is the most likely choice, but Diablo or an original MMO could be in the works.

I doubt that die hard fans will fall for it..since well ...die hard fans usually know everything...about the game AMIRITE FOLKS?

I heard Blizzard intented WoW to have a shelf life of 7 years, and I think there on target for that before the game gets so dated graphics wise that they need to reinvent it. Even then they can always upgrade the engine like AO is about to do, drag another year or 2 out of it. Lets face it, in terms of mechancis and features, not a lot has changed in MMO's since 1996, and wow is circa 04/05? Some franchises can run with a sequal and have "moderate" success, like EQ2, Lineage 2, others die a quick death or never really get of the ground, ie AC2, or UO2.

I say drag out another 3 years, bring out consistent updates, the odd expansion, then push WoW to the background, announce a completely new title, either reinvent another popular game, ie Starcraft or something entirely differant. Release that game, get an idea of its success, downscale the number of WoW servers accordingly and put those resources into the new game.
