ultimatly what made me quit cabal online is the fact that on the high lvl maps starting from Lakeside 2 seconds lag = death and i had plenty of that
Ultimatly combo system is for LAN not ONLINE play
OH and CASH shop items, especialy auto HP pots are the difference between a successful high lvl dungeon and a failed one
NOT to mention PVP-ing without the wories of potting
Another fact and i dare say Cabal Online is a game designed around a cash shop...and for example the seemingly endless bouncing between worlds(for quest purposes or whatever) just makes you wanna have Warp(premium )feature)
i gave up instintly after seeing there was prem servers i seen it way to often and decided not to waste my time. so i dont have any comment on game play seeing that i only played it for 2mins
I don't generally hate this game. I just think this game has a lot more potential than what OGPlanet is doing with it.
I've played the North American server Mercury since it's been out. I was until a week and a half ago guild leader of one of the top 3 guilds on the Mercury server.
Anyways, my reasons for quitting.
-Horrible in-game & out support. You would think the GMS of the game would have a clue of what's going on. Generic auto responses replies when emails are sent in regards of in-game issues.
-Levels 110 and up. Lakeside map & above. Might i say that your drop rate is reduced to probably 0.0000000000000001% which is sorta pathetic which also affects the crafting in this game.
-Guild War system is absolutely horrid.
-The North American server is built to revolve around the cashshop. In other servers, Astral Boards are sold at NPC areas and can be bought for in game gold (Alz). Funny how you can only get them in cashshop on the North American servers.
-NationWars of course has not been implemented yet, no surprise there. Expecting another huge fail.
-After level 130 and having max sword and magic skills (dual transender). The game dies for you at that point. Sit there and tweedle your thumbs time xD
And the list continues to grow on and on. Got lazy
Anyways, here's a positive outlook on this game though. Pretty flashy graphics.
OK, after an hour wasted of researching this game i logged on and decided what character i want to play, i spawned in the noob village went out killed a couple of monsters and quit. I'm admitting that i played for about 5 min max but after logging in i held no interest for the game. to me the graphics were grainy and terrible at max setting, camera view felt odd, mini map didnt show where to find my quest, didnt like the interface.
Ive played about 75% of the f2p mmorpgs listed on mmorpg.com ive had a crap load of...crap, downloaded onto my computer. this is by far not the worst ive played but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. im sure alot of people love the game and i dont hate it, im just not interested in it and i see why some others might not either.
The graphics aint that bad better than most "western" mmorpgs including some that are in Beta ( Supports widescreen ). One pretty much run around the same zones but thats intended so one dont have to waste time for travelling.
The worst thing tho is support which is totally lacking. Have had tickets up for 18 days now and not a single reply. This pretty much have made me loose interest in the game.
Generally its a playable game while waiting for something better to come along. The game is very sooloable so no need to commit to guilds or even look for a group.
yeah the graphics ain't that bad. I actually enjoyed playing this game for about 2 and half weeks. then it gets boring to do the same things over and over again.
i don't hate cabal man i just started playing yesterday and i like it very much,oh if you want i'm on mars you can contact me whenever you want my pg name is masterkarray bye!
"The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time."
this game to me is okay afaik.....the graphic is decent I mean even on older machine, it runs fine and yeah it is flashy and I like it ....and again its free so thats why I am stuck with it. So far its the best free game to play. I play other mmos, they are all good in its on way. Cabal on the other hand gives me something different , yes its a pretty straightforward hack and slash game, it has that arcade game feeling in it. It has combo that I have never seen in my entire mmo experience unless you play console game. It does allow you to play your own music in the game so you dont have to listen to the original in game music if you dont like it. The classess are much more simplified, yes they dont have races just human with 6 professions. About the skills, well this is interesting because most other mmos requires you to reach certain level in order to obtain particular skills. I find cabal is unique in their skill system because your skill is independent to your level, you can be a lvl 70 with transcender rank which allow you to have all the most powerful skills or you can be a lvl 140 but still in grand master rank which is 2 ranks lower than transcender, which means your lvl 140 toon dont have access yet to other higher rank skills. This i find unique. However I must say it can be boring in some stages, My concern is mainly the dungeons are quite repetitive and they look similar. My toon is only lvl 82 so I dont know the higher level maps, But again I still like this game, I just think it takes time to like this game, its too early to say this game suck if you only play for few minutes or only for 10 levels, it doesnt give you everything on your plate, when you start playing. And the grind at least to me its not that bad. I have hopes to this game because I think it has some potential, Just wait and see thats all I could say

the thing that made me dislike this game is the large amount of bots and the lack of an easy way to report them
if a game is filled with this many bots, atleast give me an easy way to report it
My god has horns.... nah, I don't think he is real either.
There are numerous reasons to hate this game
1, the numerous cussing in the game
2. numerous kser, especially from people who are higher lvl
3. overprice in the economic hardly to make money
4. botter and some people get ban even though they nvr hack.
5. server errors (example. mercury when inventory items become empty) and GM lack responsibility
..
you would quit due to cussing? WOW
My god has horns.... nah, I don't think he is real either.
And I bet they aren't even actually cursing. The chat filter is just super strict. Which seriously grates me.
