Why is it, that everytime I wanna reply to a topic,
my microsoft office package comes up and wants to install something?

If it's trying to install something, my immediate reaction is "VIRUS".... best to run a system scan before attempting to reply to this topic again just to be sure.

Virus scan negative.
The "Enhanced Editor" here seems to start that...changed to traditional bbml: problem solved.

Yea, just let it install what its looking for and then it won't ask anymore.
It asked me the 1st time I hit reply, let it install and hasn't since. I think its looking for a text controler or something that the reply page uses. If you look at the top of it the tool bar looks alot like an Office toolbar too. Seems it would download from the website as a browser pluggin or something though *shrug*

ms office is a programm for writing right so it can be that the settings of your comp are not right so if you want to reply your comp is searching for a programm that can write
because office is from microsoft and i gues you have windows installed windows will search for a programm that is on his list. a windows competible programm.
if you have the install file of office on you comp it can be that it finds it and wants to install it if you dont have office installed and not planning to save it on a disk or just remove it from you harddrive.
this should solve the problem.
if not pm or mail me liveloco@Hotmail.com and i will see what i van do for you

Actually it sounds to me like you have office associated with a file type you shouldn't have.
