XP Service pack 3 issues with Conan?

in Age of Conan: Unchained

I have updated my copy of windows XP with service pack 3 via windows update.

I was wondering if anybody in the betas have applied the service pack and has it fixed anything or has anything broke with conan?

I am wondering as when Vista SP1 was launched quite a few programs broke and needed patching.

    They haven't released SP3 yet, cause they still need to fix some errors, but you can download the current SP3 from other sites but they've still got errors.

    i'll wait...as excited as i am with sp3...i don;t like risking my OS to faulty beta patches..that just scares me lol

    I can get past  the log in screen but keeps hanging itself after that hhhhhmmmmmmm

    Yeah windows update is offering it as a critical update and it took 90 mins to download and apply, probablyy due to severe server load.

    It seems to have fixed some specific problems I had with some specialist software I was running and it seems ok and stable, but I thought it may be a good time to test Conan on it especially as it seems to have some problems with certain machines anyways.

    Not that I am in the Beta, but I downloaded it from 'majorgeeks.com' a couple of weeks ago & haven't noticed any problems yet running Windows generally or playing other games.

    Unfortunately I haven't noticed any benefits either, so it's possibly a 'Non-Event' for a lot of people.

    If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"?

    I have been using SP3 since original release (when it got pulled...had already downloaded)

    Works fine here

    The only issue they found was with a Financial piece of software...and that was it...so, there was really nothing wrong except for the bigwig corporates using that tool

    Download it, as it works great!

    the sp has been up on MS since around the beginning of April.
