I played DR a while, things I found wrong with it are slow combat; seemed like for an action rpg things should die faster and do more damage and be in larger mobs and you should be able to herd mobs to and not run threw them. Other things I found were the skills all being placed around the character, should be placeable using mouse like gas blast, and no story is bad.
all but these things is good

Hmmm. To each their own, I guess: we feel like the action is reasonably fast-paced. We've experimented with collision detection on monsters, but they're more likely to herd you than vice versa. We made a conscious decision regarding where skills activate: it's just a matter of balance and variety (I suspect that if all the magic spells could activate at a distance, everyone would play mages). Of course, we're always adding new skills, and there's no telling what gets added next.
The lack of overarching story, and emphasis on thematic jokes on a per dungeon basis was also definitely intentional. Dungeon Runners is an easy game to get into, and it's an easy game to get back into after a few weeks of not playing. I've played a lot of games that have fantastic story lines and great game play, but if I walk away for a little while and then come back, I forget enough that I end up having to start from the beginning.
Anyway, thanks for trying the game, I hope you can see where we're coming from in the decisions we made, and keep enjoying it!
thank you on response. but people dont play fighter, so make fighter attack around himself and make the mage mouse the location of the spell, then all get played. collision detection you could get herded instead of monster but that also makes gg because you need to play well to stop from being herded, maybe get spell to stop getting herded like rightous stun and nets.
pace is slow and i got difficulty slider to make it more slow, make normal fast and if someone wanted slower they would use slider, everyones happy. add more enemies for large battles to.
il be in game now maybe i find a nice killing skill
