My question is more for CB testers. Can I ask what is their to do so far ?
We have:
1) good graphics
2) advanced combat
3) PvP
4) simple quest
But how about other stuff like dungeons, quest that require groups or anything else. I'm really not being negative but so far I only see shallow game play topics.
PLEASE no guessing, and not features from devs. ( actual and real time ) I'm trying to make a decission on AoC.

Their are dungeons, im not sure how many *hopfully alot* I saw a few videos on youtube with group dungeon gameplay, but im not in beta so I can't honestly say anything. Theirs probably quests that will require groups, and levelign is normally faster grouped up.
No worries. They'll drop the NDA and let Closed Beta testers tell the public what they think of the game sometime in June.
Please no guessing, I'm looking for FUN !!
I don't think any of the CB or "live beta" people can comment because as far as i know NDA is still in effect (not sure though, i could be wrong). But i have heard of "group mobs" mobs that you can't really take on your own even unless ur 5+ levels higher than it.
But release is in like 5 days, what is their to do ?
Wait 1week after release and know for yourself via reviews, free trial, etc.
This could be a serious problem, being in "Awe" will only last me for about 2 days, how about fun !

SORRY that's devs stuff anything real time at all !!!!
We can not give much info away atm. What I can tell and what has already been told is that there are dungeons that start around lvl 38 (has been made official). As far as testing those in CB we can not say much. But like all- its beta and things dont go always to smooth. Some grouping up problems made it hard to work together in groups.
But - (also official) The whole of Hyboria is instanced. That means that you can do all of it as solo or do it as a group in diffrent dificulty lvl after lvl 20 (abit harder giving more rep and so on). Not quite sure how the mecanics work tho. But the switching between instances is pretty much like normal to heroic in WOW. But instead of just the dungeons in WOW beein heroic the WHOLE of Hyboria is heroic. At least that was my impression of it.
But if it has been balanced yet - Im not sure.
Has anyone actually experienced any of that ?
haha he has a good point what are they gonna do kick them out of closed beta?? I'm guessing they are gonna do that in a day or so anyway. So I think it is a good time to start adding more info.

Well Obviously their is nothing but eye candy, and quest as of yet, I had never seen a single post telling of fun stuff to do, not even CB leaks.
Even Tabula Rase had much to do during beta, their had to be at least 5 dungeons in both the Wilderness and Devide along with excitement. And NO this is not about Tibula Rasa it's only an example of things to do.
One thing I don't understand the Funcom devs gave every indication of a release in December and pulled the plug two weeks before, what were they thinking ? It had to be wayyyy less done back then, so what was that all about ?
So is their anything to do. Has anyone witnessed first hand some real fun stuff ( real time, not dev stuff). Is this gonna be another RPG like the Witcher, but at $15 a month to see others running around ?
I'm trying to like both AoC and Warhammer but Warhammer seems as if it's centered around stuff to do other than quest and pvp.
Help me out tell me/us some real time positives here !
there's plenty of stuff to do, and group content. no worries. Low, med, and high level.
Also, someone around here doesn't seem to know the difference between "instanced" and "zoned"...
I'm sure there will be the usual fare of dungeons that a group has to do. And if i am not mistaken the game is heavily story based so we could see a system like LOTROs books. I have no idea though. Why is the NDA STILL up like a week away from release.
Because they want people to buy it because they THINK it will be good, instead of waiting to see if it really is. Lots of people CAN'T wait even a day after release to buy an MMO for some weird fear of falling behind...is a week really behind?

I know exactly what the diffrence between instanced and zoning is. There are no zones in AOC. THe areas that you call zoned are always made so you can not have more than X number of players in it or new "zone" will be created. That basicly means that one person that is playing in the same area as another and is talking to him in /w might not actually be playing in the same instance.
How it will work if friends want to play together and find them in diffrent "zones" - I don't know.
I vote Wharg0ul for Guild President
Still nothing,
Everyone is guessing, and no real acounts of any group dungeons, or anything else but simple quest and eye candy. NOTHING REAL !
me and a group of friends went in 2 dungeons in open beta. one was itemized one wasn't. seemed pretty small and alot of dead ends with no bosses. not sure how they will shape up come release
you have seen......nothing. Nothing at all.
you have seen......nothing. Nothing at all.
not claiming to know it all. just saying what i experianced. i thought that's what the op asked. i could of gotten it wrong tho.
For instance?
(no pun intended)
STOP WHINING!
After the recent patch that got my hopes up and changed my opinion to positive, I think I'll wait several weeks to see if people get tired with the absence of fun content. Two days of running this post and all I've found is a few hole in the ground quest.
"no worries" is one of Averys lines and he only post devs comments, I'm looking for real time.
I don't care about eye candy, never did. I'm in it for fun !
Eh, whatever...buy it or not, what do I care.
