On his worst day

On his worst day McCain will be a better prez  than Obama and Hillery on their best day.

Count those votes in Florida and Michigan.

    interestingly enough, you are correct.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

As old as he is I'm not sure the guy will make it to see his worst day. You may just get stuck with a Mormon as prez.

I think McCain is weak on the most important issues:

    1. Economy
    2. War(s) in War and Afghanistan
    3. U.S. Constitutional Rights (privacy, e.g.)

    He is strong on:

    1. Pork Spending (this is crucial)
    2. Government Waste (except U.S. military waste, which is by far the largest)
    3. Government Finance (at least the "old" McCain that opposed Bush's crazy tax policies)

At what point did small, two sentence posts become worthy of their own thread? I've seen more detail in a cookie's fortune.  At least give us some lucky numbers to go with your asinine remarks.  Better yet, how about some details about why he would be better than Obama and Clinton? I swear, you might as well write a post that reads, "Peaches."  And just wait to see how people respond.  Of course, we already know how people will respond to this post.  You've got Enigma, Unconformed, Xpowderx, Outfctrl, et al., who will come in and cheer such a small, thoughtless post.  Then, of course, you've got myself and others like me who will come in and criticize it.  Just an ounce of effort.  How about that?

Hey, look at the bright side, even if he's a bad president, we have another four years to find better ones than Obama or Hillary.  Much better than the eight year reign of taxes and war that Ol' Dubya has brought upon us.  If worst comes to worst, the status quo will remain.  It still makes me happy that Ron Paul has brought the American people another view point, that some open-mindedly accepted, that's at least a start, maybe American's will stray away from the narrow-minded mess of our politics.

How does John McCain have such a loyal following? He's a corrupt hack.

It perplexes me how he managed to scrape up the nomination

His military history wasn't nearly as impressive as his father and grandfather who were navy admirals, he was an insubordinate soldier who eventually managed to get captured and held for 5 years as a POW married the heiress of the arizona budweiser distributing company

and also managed to become a senator

I guess the only nice thing I can think about him is he's a funny guy

Somehow, I am having trouble picturing John McCain on his worse day.

For Hillary, it would probably start off with her walking out onto Pennsyvania Avenue in a bath robe, hair in curlers, and mud plastered on her face, to harangue an audience.

For Obama, it would probably involve him participating in an athletic event, only to prove that not all black people are natural athletes.

For McCain, I picture a senile old man waundering along Pennsylvania Avenue in a bath robe, flashing  young female tourists in hopes of getting an offer to re-live his youth.......hopefully the Secret Service will be alert enough to prevent that from happening.

I count five on the first page if you include the one about Howard Stern being president, which of course inevitably turned into a "Colbert for president" discussion, of course, both ideas are moronic.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

Yeah, I'm thinking the non-americans that come to this forum know more about american politics than their own.

    That is their own fault.

Maybe enlighten us with some good ole otherworld politics for once.

It's obvious the OT has just become the drudge report only less informed and 56% more ignorant.

Also heavily right these days, which is amusing to say the least...Considering the right generally attacks the very genre we are mainly here for.

    Video games.

I dunno show me the last time a republican president did good for us, and I'll show you twenty that they did wrong.
