And if you did level to 50, you must like the game somewhat, because NO ONE in their right mind wouldnt play a game they hate or despise.

I see a lot this 'You hardcores..exploits used...etc' being bruted about. I've played AoC for a week now and far from hardcore. Regular, yes but hardcore 'GOGOGGOGOGGO', no. It isn't hard to level. I wandered around and even cut my leveling some by running around doing grey quests so I could see the quest chains (greys don't offer much XP when involving mob kills. They go faster but if you are getting bonus XP for kill the mobs, you level faster).

I am still playing because 1) I like helping new players in Tortage and 2) I don't hate it. I don't generally care for it and canceled my upcoming sub but if it's on my machine for next 30 or so days, I'll keep playing casually until my time runs out.

People all too often make absolute statements and don't offer to even consider the 'other side of the coin.' (i.e. the other perspective). Try it. It's refreshing.

WoW had a lot to do and was well done from Day 1 as I said earlier. All these comments saying that WoW was total S*** at the start, are far off the mark and have no idea what was actually "wrong". You can bet that WoW most certainly had banks, mail, and an auction house from the start. It also lacked the SEVERE IMBALANCES in AoC where a class can be two shot by another that is far beneath them in levels.

    I could go on.

I could be wrong but I remember Druids being useless crap even 6 months after launch?

And warriors were broken, and rogues were extreamly overpowered in pvp 2 shotting all cloth classes.

Fixing class imbalances takes time and it isnt something you can realease in one update.

A man dies daily, only to be reborn in the morning, bigger, better and wiser.

I put emphasis on SEVERE IMBALANCE for a reason. No, none of the classes were as fudged at the start of WoW as demonologists and necromancers are. It is grotesque, and the problems run to core mechanics with the class. Not just general weakness. I started playing WoW as a warrior and warlock too, so I have a bit to say about that comparison guys.

As far as rogues or whatever being OP, its a lot better to have OP classes at the start than it is to have useless ones.
