Seriously, enough is enough. I dont give a crap about ''fanboi's'' (whoever uses this term in serious accordance is an Avril Lavigne fan) or ''Trolls'', this is getting out of hand. If I post a topic asking ''How did you like Conall's Valley'' it gets bumped back to page 5 in 30 mins time because there's a handfull of ''fanboi's'' and even more ''trolls'' (from my experience) who feel the need to reply to every bloody ''review'' of the game made, flaming each other to pieces.
Knock it off. I want to discuss the game, I want to discuss the gameplay, that's what these boards are for no? We're here to discuss the GAME, not how much FunComs stock is going to drop or increase, what marketing strategy they should have taken, how much gigs of ram you need to run the game properly (<---------Tech section that way).
This board has turned into a pathetic whinefest where players who enjoy the game can't even have a conversation.

I agree with you man. My toon just hit 21 yesterday. Taking it slow so my friends can catch up. I would actually love to discuss the game further but you are right. Every time you post a review or anything you are wrong or misinformed. So, Cheers to you friend for posting this. Ive tried to do something similar but i got 3 replies because flaming is more important than a nice discussion.

That's what AoC fansites are for hehe. That's not going to happen on this site, with so many people...Basically unbiased opinions and useful facts for AoC are rarely found here. Well, I've seen some unbiased reviews, but they usually get swamped with the epic Fanboi vs. Troll never-ending war...

I just wanna say ''Hell yea'' to your comment about tanking Sanctum =p I had so much fun and a real challenge tanking it with my Dark Templar. Some of the mobs there hit like a friggin' truck. Especially the two green buggers on the stairs HURT.

Someone posts that they can't find any quests past level 40 and the fan boys call him a dumbass and refuse to believe that many people are having that problem.

You are both equally bad. Heck Enigma is one of the only sane people playing this game apparently.

Callin us fanbois? i think we are just anti - bitching. in either direction, i dont want to hear how great anyone thinks this game is or how horrible this and that or whatever is. i just want to learn more about the game, so all of you who say these forums are biased or a waste of my time if i am actually interested in learning anything useful about a game that i am currently playing, you guys are right,

There is plenty of Stubborn people that cant look past there own ego and see the truth whether it slaps them in the face of not. This Causes like 90% of the Hater's to seem so Selfish when it comes to there opinions.
Fan Boi's as its said I think just look at the glass a little more then half full... better then it is... etc.. Like I said in diffrent post Diamond in Rough your problem if you took leap of faith and bought the game. If it wasnt a game for you or wasnt sure you can always wait for the trial to become avaliable.

Lol trust me you can read between the lines and form a solid opinion and find info about the game if you try. If you don't want to try, again, there are AoC fansites out there. And as for anti-bitching? Most fanbois end up getting sick of "trolls" and start complaining. So...that makes 0% sense. I think people who say the game's not as bad as someone might make it out to be ARE NOT fanbois. When you resort to insults and such, that shows how immature you are (not saying you Facil01, I just mean people in general). The forums are pretty entertaining though, at least for a while.

well for me i love AoC. I have played about 15+ mmos and i think so far AoC is my favorite. i dont bash other games i just defend a game if people make false accusations on it. I love how FC made AoC. The instancing doesnt bother me and in my opinion people that complain about it just do it to start a bunch of trouble. i see so many people everyday that u really cant tell its instanced. sure theres not 100+ sitting in a city square trying to sell items (Lineage2) but even when that happened there was tons of lag. I think FC did it right sure its buggy, sure it can be improved but for me i think its just right.

Hey thanks !I do try my hardest to stay out of the hate threads and just post screen shots because the game looks so nice. Every now and then someone will say something just off the wall and untrue and I'll butt in
No, the game is not perfect, yes it has it's share of bugs, yes some people are having issues with running the game although I've had none, but weather you like it or not just boils down to personal preference. I currently have a level 32, 22, 12 and an 8 lol, and I've been having fun.

Excuse me? If someone posts that they can't find any quests past lvl 40, I tell them where to find them. If someone posts that they have tech problems, I try to help them.This is why I'm an officer in my guild as well...I help. This is why I also have a tendency to "educate" when people post half-truths or outright lies about the game.
To the OP on the subject of the Sanctum: I tank it with my Brute spec Conq...and I agree, those two Dark Beasts hurt like hell....what really rips me up though are the casters...although I'm doing better since I learned a thing or two in teh pyramid, and started stacking elemental protection in my gear.
Have you gotten the full set of heavy armor from the Warlord yet?? It KICKS ASS. Took me all day yesterday, of run after run to get it all.
I agree mostly but would only disagree about the tech part. This is never ending. I'm going to sound like a broken record but oh well....
There are currently 8 threads stickied leaving room for only 7 threads on the first page to be started. That's not alot of room folks.
That's why we only need 1 thread for these I "like/dislike" it threads on the first page at any one time.
MMORPG either needs to re-think things when a game has just launched, like allowing only one "it rocks/sucks" thread on the first page or they need to make sections for it. People are not going to use the blog part and the general discussion in the general forum of this site unfortunately. Though that would be nice..

And where would one find that Warlord set? Assuming Warlords a boss (I didnt pay attention to boss names in Sanctum), I only tanked Sanctum once thus far, and have gone on to Fields of the dead where I just hit 41 yesterday. I'll be going back to Sanctum soon tho, because I want that shield, since mine looks like a bloodied dinnerplate with a crack in the middle.EDIT: Forgot my on-topic part lol: Narug, I agree with you completely, it would be nice to see MMORPG.com take some action and put all the whineposts into 1 thread, unsticky a few threads and redirect people to the tech section more.
Nothing worse than a fanboy complaining about criticism on the game he likes. There is nothing wrong with critical comments, this is a forum to post your views whether positive or negative. People come here to get others perspective on the game.
If the negative comments were few you could consider them to just your normal haters posting, but in this instance the negative posters have found significant issues with the game. Of course that is their opinion, you are perfectly able to respond to how you feel about those issues.
Personally, the game is NOT what they advertised and I can understand why so many are complaining, it is not a bad game by any means and will continue to be enjoyed by those whose playstyle it fits.
Except everyone seems to be forgetting 1 extremely important point: They have already released more patches in a week than for example Hellgate:London (another launch failure) did in a month. This alone should state that the game will be ok.
Anyway, thats not the point. I think we've seen enough of the ''omg AoC sucks'' threads to get the general idea. Let everyone that hates it piss off somewhere else, while everyone that enjoys it can discuss the actuall game together, because right now there is just no space for it.
You have some valid points, but you ever notice people pretty much talk about what they want to talk about. If you try to control it you will just get frustrated.
Also, there are plenty of posts like this...people complaining about complainers. You hate the haters. See the irony there? At least the complainers are talking about the game.
It could be they patched so much because they released too soon. They beta tested a different version of their game engine. Things like that don't make sense.
Well, its nice to see my name being included on this partys VIP list, but I am no fanboi. While I do have and enjoy AoC, I only butt in when the most rediculous comments are made...Oh, and when someone that enjoys the game is getting bashed on from a hater, ya, then take note...the goose is coming for you!

The truth is that there are a lot of people who can look past launch issues (which every MMORPG has) and can genuinly have fun with Age of Conan, one of them is me. Stop being so stupidly close-minded and respect the fact that there are people who disagree with you when you say its a ''trash game'' instead of forcing your opinion on everyone with big bolded pink letters.
